They’re very hawaiian inspired. Friends of mine in Hawaii are very impressed, actually.

Took a while but these are the first ones since the Water Starter that I dislike entirely.
I love it.
From serebi: Mimikkyu hates sunlight, preferring dark places. It is rumored that the cloth covering its body is a strategy to avoid the sun. Don’t try to remove the cloth, it is said that those that do become afflicted with an illness.
So the outside really isn’t the Pokemon. It’s hiding. How cool is a creepy ghost that you never know what it really looks like because it’s hiding and pretending to be a lovable, sweet Pokemon?

I don’t want it looking like a creepy version of Pikachu. It’s half-arsed.
Bruh, they’ve been making half-assed Pokemon since gen 1. Thankfully this isn’t one though. I think all the new Pokemon are really interesting in their own right.
I definitely agree that there are some shitty designs out there, but this one is definitely in my top 5 of “this is what happens when idiots design Pokémon” list. It’s lazy and unimaginative IMO.

Omg I love Mimitsukiyu!! It’s so creepy and sweet at the same time, and the art style lends to the creep factor, which is really cool/unique (imo).

I imagine it will change based on something but what that is I’m not sure. I quite like pedobear just because I find the design hilarious and the ghost fairy looks decent too imo.
i love the sociopathic starter birdling grassmon. He will be who i chose. I hope a like a super super low printedd card comes out of him.

Loooooove the concept of Mimikkyu.
What would be even cooler is if it kinda had a Ditto effect to it.
Where it could change the shape of the rag it’s wearing to resemble different pokemon.
Wouldn’t have to be all 900+ or whatever the number is, But definitely the starters would be legit.
