Bottom left looks like Dragonair to me. Amirite? Jk. I’m probably the only one who sees it. And maaaaaybe @dragontype if I’m lucky. I don’t see it as Lugia though.

Is it considered blasphemy if I want to see alternative evolution for Dragonair instead of Mega evolved fat Zard?

He’s not fat Zard though. Even with Dragonite’s current design, it’s still far better than Charizard imo.
A Mega Dragonite could see a return to the sleek Dragonair-ish design.
Maybe even Dragon/Fairy typing hey @dragontype? Hahaha

Arcanine and Dragonite are pretty safe bets for Megas this Generation I think.
Actually I’d prefer they calm down on their obsession with Megas but I doubt it.

There’s an unsettling rumor that another evolution mechanic might be in the works for Gen 7. More specifically Pokemon fusion where the trainer and the Pokemon “become one” kind of like how Ash and Greninja do in the anime now.
I personally think that this would be an even worse idea than BREAK cards were. Praying that this disaster doesn’t happen… Megas are where I draw the line.

People have been spreading rumours since Generation 3. Not saying it will never happen, and I hope it doesn’t. But people always shovel out the same rumours for every generation.

ash and greninja fuse… wtf. I quit life now. What is this madness. Im continueing last season of diamond and pearl as we speak.
Perhaps rumor was the wrong word, it’s more like another theory. This time it’s based on pictures of the protagonist trainers with bracelets that seem to resemble items used to fuse with Pokemon in the ReBurst manga spinoff. The same diamond is also present in the Japanese Sun/Moon logos much like how the Mega Stone helix was in the Japanese X/Y logos.
While it’s all more likely than not crazy tinfoil hat speculation, the ideas certainly aren’t baseless and coming from nowhere… which is why it’s concerning.
