You’re right my friend. Time has a habit of changing ones appearance lol.
Thanks, it turned out better than I though it would.
One of my sons is in the background on multiple shots. He has the red shirt on and long hair.
That was really awesome to watch Gary, i bet you were worried your BGS 10 was going to get dropped there for a second
Ricks ignorance was getting a little annoying there but it was good to see Chum was putting him in place, i bet Chum wished they bought them now lol.
Anyways great job and ill give you 10 schmeckles for the lot !
lol I’ll pass cause I don’t know what a schmeckle is;)
Schmeckles = a made up currency from the American adult animated science-fiction sitcom, Rick and Morty

Schmeckles are pretty easy to learn
Pretty cool to see i know people were annoyed at ricks attitude but 380k on something he has no idea on i doubt many if any people in the world would be willing to buy that but i do have a question do you think Rick actually downloaded pokemongo and is now hooked on it
Great episode Gary!!
What was this silver case you used to transport the cards? Looked pretty cool and I could need one

Never really watched rick and morty but that had me in stitches
Did anyone catch Chumlee talking about Pokémon Go. Took 10 minutes to catch one. Threw 40 Ultraballs at it. WTF
@garyis2000 , now that you’re famous, what is the asking price for an autograph?
Thanks for the link
Been watching the show for years, and was waiting for a pokemon collection.
Really awesome to see your collection Gary!

Finally, Pokemon is getting the recognition it deserves. From newspapers to magazines to television, it’s everywhere.
As many of you know, Rick Harrison from the History channels hit series Pawn Stars is a neighbor of mine. Well I got the opportunity to interact with him at his business, the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop in downtown Las Vegas.
Both he and co star Chumlee had me and some of my Pokemon in the shop as part of their show.My part was filmed late last year and the episode is airing next Monday July 10th on the History Channel.
I’m not sure if our international brothers and sisters are familiar with the show but it’s very popular here in the states.
I’m contractually obligated not to discuss more on my episode until it airs but I can say my wife and son can be seen roaming around in the background.
I hope this is one of the things that continue to help the hobby. The show gets millions of viewers so it surely can’t hurt.
Let me know what you all think when it airs:)
PS…Thanks to Scott, who was aware of this all along but was asked not to mention it in case they didn’t use my segment.
woah I love this program. I’m from the uk and used to watch it all the time? Without having to read through everything do you know what series/episode it is? Would love to see it.
Amazing. Just watched through the link. Amazing collection of charizard too.
Thanks for the link @sanzonw! And great episode Gary (@garyis2000)!
I didn’t even knew you had that many Charizards. I liked that he said “There’s 20% of the market value here sitting on your desk.”
Great episode, and I’m looking forward seeing it on TV one day during one of the many re-runs here in The Netherlands.
Out of curiosity. We know it was just put in scene, but did you had any messages or offers on your Charizards from people not active on the forum?
Greetz,
Quuador
Nice Gary
“Actually Charizard is the Pokémon”

Maybe I’ll be at the auto table at worlds. More likely the Dunk Tank lol.

Yes. My entire collectors base has been riled. My email inbox is flooded with inquiries. One offer is huuuge and I hate to admit, tempting.
sit on it for a few more years and you’ll probably have double what he is offering hahaha. then invite the whole forum to Vegas for a party.
It’s quite telling to see something you’re relatively knowledgeable about being dumbed down for the masses to consume.
