Nice one Gary! That was a lot of fun to see!
I like that now when they did feature a Pokémon collector it was actually someone very serious with a great collection to show off
I totally didn’t think to tell people here about this.
He’s been around almost a year now. He has mild popularity but hasn’t had much success competing just because he doesn’t have a winning record to tow the line. Haha
Did you know that he wasn’t going to make you an offer ahead of time? It kind of seemed like you had more of just a publicity thing going on or that they thought it would just be an interesting piece to include in the show (which it was). I just mean he seemed very opposed to even considering buying them which is weird for someone in their line of work. I feel as though even if I didn’t know anything more about something except that is was worth money that would be enough for me (if i was him) to at least think about it. All of the junk he has probably sold for fat stacks of cash and somehow has a stigma against trading cards (seems unlikely)? Either way it looks like the ultimate pokemon scammer… I mean collector… walks away the victor of this. I’m just saying it’s hard to imagine you getting your hands on that many psa 10 charizards without having a few poke-skeletons in your closet.
Honestly, I had no idea what he was going to do or what was in his mind. For my part it was fun and I hope it brought some good positive attention to the hobby we all love:)
This seems to be getting attention on YouTube too. The comment section is riddled with trolls and typical “pokeman cardz? neerddss lolz!” types of posts but what else is new.
