I am so happy I am just English/Japanese. I can’t imagine the difficulty of doing all languages.

Thanks for sharing, heard some countries only got Series One earlier this month.
At a guess these should only be in languages where TPCi supports organised play, so English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.
Not sure about Portuguese yet as COPAG produces those in Brazil.

So just to make sure, there’s no Ampharos in these packs right? Just a Flaaffy? These seem like a bit of a pain for species collectors…

That’s pretty annoying. If there’s a Flaaffy then surely there’s an Ampharos too (and a Mareep)? You’d think there would be a little checklist put into the packs (like they do with the “fun” packs).
Species collectors are definitely sweating lol I’m eagerly awaiting a full list for series 2 so I can know if I’ll be suffering or not haha

Flaafy only is because it was meta relevant
Though I suppose that wouldn’t make it impossible for a Mareep, but I don’t think an Ampharos will be included unfortunately

Ok thanks for letting me know. I live rural and there’s no local league so there’s no interest in playing and as a result I don’t really have any idea what cards are good in the tcg (I just collect them).

Ha, it’s weird paying $10 to $50 for cards normally worth $1 to $5 just because a reprinted card has a stamp. Wish shops got double the amount of packs. Maybe series 2 will be better

Anyone know the full list of languages these were released in? Cause i know that they were released in Spanish also…
It’s funny because if WotC did this (right now), they’d be praised to the moon. Reprinting playable cards in Magic is a god-send. I can’t help but wonder if the value of these new POP-lite cards will hold up…
I see several people buying them for their decks. Once they go out of rotation, they are just for species collectors and master set collectors. Long term I don’t see these staying at the crazy high prices they are today. Also with overlap of some of the same cards between series 1 and 2, that should also lower the price of singles soon.

I think it really depends on the specific cards. There are a lot of Pika, Zard and Eeveelution collectors. I see those cards holding/increasing in value long term.
I hope that future packs have unique arts. That would be spicy.
Looking at Umbreon VMAX it was a $250 card at release. Now there are several listings below $150-$200 and people aren’t buying them. I think it shows people aren’t willing to pay up for the stamp. A lot of Eeveelution species collectors that I know only collect one of each artwork. I also know a few full master species colllectors, but that is a huge minority.
Possibly people waiting for Season 2 to be released and prices to dip. We’ll have to wait and see! Time will tell 
$250 was always overpriced imo. In the UK sales have been closer to £100 which feels about right.
