Only 2 votes for Pikachu??? I get the creepyness element but to me that only adds to the vibe of the card.
The more realistic art style just comes off in a contradictory way as surreal. You can also sit there for a good 5 minutes studying all the objects that Pikachu has collected

Suicune is S tier. The Pika gives me sort of a renaissance painting vibe? A little? I like it 
I really wish Pokemon did more experimental art stuff with their cards. The alt arts are amazing, but I feel like they could go further

I agree, more stylization has always appealed to me personally. I think that’s why Komiya and artists of the like are so polarizing, but it makes it more fun!
