Hi, new user here. I saw this post and wanted to contribute. I have data from 215 booster packs from plasma storm I can contribute. It is all in an excel spreadsheet with the weight in grams (XX.XXg), the reverse holo that was included and the rare card that was included.
What’s the best way to send over the spreadsheet?

. Opened two more Dragon packs. First, a 17.29g pack. Reverse holo Magneton (#35), rare Magneton, and two Magnemites (#61 and #62). Nope, I’m not joking. Second, a 17.36g pack. Reverse holo Slugma, Vibrava rare. No Magnetons or Magnemites, though, so that’s a plus?
So pretty lackluster pulls. Also opened 15 POP Series 4 packs (I have too much Troll & Toad store credit), as well as a POP Series 2 pack, and a POP Series 9 pack. Was realllllyyyy hoping to get a Sceptile or Deoxys ex out of the POP Series 4 packs, but I didn’t. Meh. POP Series can’t be weighed so none of that is relevant lol, but yeah, bottom-line is: Dragon is wonky. 17.34g = heavy and 17.36g = light. I recently won a 17.35g Dragon pack on eBay that’s on its way to me and now I’m really unsure whether or not to open it lol. I probably will, though. For scientific purposes, of course.
On our livestream I opened a 1st Ed Base pack that weighed 20.76 on two different scales. Pulled a Holo Clefairy.
I have 18 packs that weighed 20.30-20.49
I had 9 packs that weighed 20.76-20.88. The one that weighed 20.76 was the Clefairy.
Thank you for the data point! Makes me think that the weights for 1st Ed. Base may be different than the weights of Unlimited Base? Unlimited Base doesn’t seem to have many holo packs that are under 21g.
Got my 17.35g Dragon pack from eBay in the mail; opened it + 2 other packs. Unfortunately all light.
Dragon – Magneton #35 reverse (yes, again) - 17.35g
Holon Phantoms – Pichu reverse - 17.42g
Hidden Legends – Ancient Technical Machine: Rock reverse - 17.42g
So there goes like $800 lol. But what are you going to do :/. Time to buy some more packs!

Awesome!! Best of luck. I’ve been on a dry streak recently. I was planning on buying the 17.4g Dragon pack that’s on eBay, but now I’m not so sure that it’s heavy. DA Card World has 50/50 heavy Power Keepers packs for $117…pretty tempting. They also have 50/50 heavy Dragon Frontiers for $375 and 50/50 heavy Delta Species for $290. Just mentioning these in case anyone else wants to donate their money to science haha (and potentially pull a gold star?).
@zorloth, do you know what does DA Card World mean when they sell 50/50 heavy packs?
When they get loose packs in, they weigh them and make the ratio of heavy/light packs 1:1. And then they sell light packs as art sets, I believe. I’m not sure exactly how it works or why they do it, but I’m sure that they’re honest about it.
You can also have them break the pack live; people have done it with Pokemon packs quite a few times and the videos are on YouTube. I watched one recently where they pulled an Espeon ex!
I see that you have sets listed out to Boundaries Crossed. Any idea of these can be weighed successfully?
