What a tease…
This might be the first time Nintendo has said anything official about the next console.
The XY remake and the Gen 10 game will be on the Switch while the new console is adopted by every other franchise.

The announcement is so weird that I almost thought it’s for discouraging people to buy more Switches so that they can start scaling down manufacturing and move resources to producing successing consoles.
…long overdue, but looking forward seeing nintendo releasing a console that will disrupt the market and set itself many years in front of the competition.
let’s hope also they will synergize with pokemon 
, and offers a cosplay pikachu zelda to release it in fanfare… that could be stormy.
