Hey guys,
I’ve wondered about this card for awhile now:
Does anyone know more about the story behind this card?
How much do you think it is worth?
Cheers,
SoulWind

i dont know anything about it, however i’ll tell u what … its the single most coolest card i’ve eever seen in my life
According to the seller there is only 30 in existence and was available at the Spring Battle Carnival in Japan 2013 and was awarded to the top 3 of the tournament’s. That’s all he posted in the listing, I messaged him asking for more details but he has yet to get back to me.
It is the same artwork as the jumbo BEAMS promo, which if it wasn’t Jumbo I would have definitely already purchased one being a Mew/Mewtwo collector. Hope this was some help, although I can take no credit for it seeing as I just got it from the eBay listing.
It seems odd to me that only 30 copies of the card exist.
I mean, Darkrai-EX from the Battle Carnival was printed in abundance if I am not mistaken. Of course, that says nothing about the Mewtwo-EX but I have heard so little about it that I can’t help be a little skeptical. I vaguely remember JP-Jun having this card for sale awhile back on eBay (around the same price) so maybe it is that rare.
I vaguely recalled that we discuss This history somewhere in the giant auction thread (maybe, not sure)… I’m really busy at work this week so I can’t find the post for you. I’ll do it when I have time.
Thanks a ton. I’m going to check it out now (if I can find it).
Here’s the article. Nothing was discussed about the card… I think it was for a different card

Is the card really worth $1k?
That’s really helpful!
It doesn’t seem worth $1K at all.
