Hey, i have the chance pf picking a psa 10 copy of the master scrolls up for around 1600 dollars, do people think this is a really good price point or should i wait to see is a ungraded copy comes on the market?
The last few ungraded copies sold for about that price.
Iam very tempted to get the deal done because i love the art work and unlike similar japanese promo card from around that year it has the unique art work, does anyone know how many copies were printed?
Number of copies printed and distributed is unknown although thought to be extremely low. Maybe in the low hundreds? Certainly more than 50 but less than 1000.

Get it, it is one of the best new back promo imo (but i’m sure many other would agree).
You cannot do wrong with exclusive artwork, exclusive holo pattern and extremely low printrun.
Moreover, iirc six months ago ungraded copies in the original packaging (so a nearly sure psa 10) sells for about 700 EUR. Now the same item is 1600 USD as smpratte said.
I actually picked mine up recently for around $500 USD from yj. It’s looking like a 9-10 (hopefully

For something already graded and established as a 10, I think the price point you’re looking at is more than fair. I may be biased since I own one but there’s a lot working in favour of this card in terms of future value. I think whatever you pay now will seem like an amazing deal in 5-10 years if the Pokémon card market remains healthy.
I think ebay is always slightly inflated when it comes to buy now as its suc a well known and easily accessed market place, is yahoo japan easy to purchase from? I have had a look at it but its quite an intimidating market place when you are used to ebay 
Yeah it’s hard at first, but then it gets a lot easier eventually. Worth it.
I think the price I got it at was an anomaly even for yj, so don’t expect there to be any more popping up at that price. There were no back pictures either so it was a bit of a risk on my part.
If you want to get into buying from yj, I’d recommend trying a middleman service such as buyee or zenmarket to get your feet wet.
Keep in mind eBay is the open market, therefore prices are naturally higher. You can definitely find some cards for less on Yahoo, not as easy as a few years ago. Not sure if there are any Scrolls available atm.
With this specific card, keep in mind its not an easy grade for a new back japanese promo. The Pop report has 13 psa 8 & 9 grades, and 16 psa 10 grades. That is a very low percentage of 10 for a new back japanese card. Therefore the high grade rightfully adds a premium.
Just purchased , card was a little more than first thought, around 1800 dollars, great addition to the collection tho, hopfully a great investment, can anybody tell me how you upload pictures to posts on here? I am struggling to copy and paste images
