Jaws's Korean collecting journey

I wasn’t sure if I should start a multi language collection thread, but I decided that I am invested in Korean particularly enough that it warrants its own thread. I got lucky and picked up a good chunk of the holos at an auction, found the booster packs already graded and I have a lead on an empty 1st edition box for display. I would like to complete the 1st edition holo set in PSA and then focus on the hardest goal of all… The unlimited Charizard.

I still need Alakazam, Blastoise, Mewtwo and Venusaur and the 1st edition Blastoise art booster pack.

Picked up another Korean 1st ed charizard, BGS 8.5. That being said, the BGS 8 is for sale.

I shipped the BGS 8 back to myself to see it in person. A swirl was a nice surprise.

No luck! Nobody is parting with their copy as of now, which is probably fine since I’ll need time to liquidate everything I own to get it lol

Haha true. What kind of price have you seen or expect for the zard?

Have you seen anyone own the Venusaur or know what it might go for?

There’s only one that I know of that’s available. It’s with a full set though. I don’t know the exact price that anyone has paid for the charizard, all I know is quite a bit. haha
