So I was looking on ebay the other day and found a seller with low feedback listing some “near mint” ex cards from Rocket Returns, I shot them a message to see what else they had and if they’d wanna sell their whole collection, they were interested and with the limited photos they sent me I offered $600 + shipping for the whole lot. I just got the cards today and I’m awestruck at this lot. It’s all EX era stuff, 500+ holos, and it’s all mint. I don’t mean “guy with low feedback on ebay” mint, I mean immaculate, I wouldn’t be exaggerating to say 95%+ of it would grade PSA 9 or better. Everything has been sleeved, even the non-holo bulk, so I assume the guy just opened a ton of boxes back in the mid 2000’s, sleeved the cards, and didn’t touch them at all. Anyways pretty stoked on this lot so I thought I’d share some pics with y’all, everything pictured is holo! Pretty amazing deal, don’t find this kind of thing everyday.
good lord… all you money back just from grading the torchic in psa 9 haha… anyways. if be extremely interested in that latios holo from ex delta species if it can grade a 10! last one I need for set completion
And this point I was expecting the usual: “… and it turned out almost none of them were near mint. Only a couple were, and everything else was LP-EX…”.

This is just freaking awesome. I have always been a WOTC guy, but the EX series has been growing on me the last several months. Outstanding artwork and I love the card designs.
Thanks! I grew up collecting a bit of the EX era cards so it’s hitting me pretty hard in the nostalgia haha, some of the artworks are outstanding! Love the dichotomy in TRR with the some of the most ferocious looking dark pokemon and the happiest looking regular pokemon!
I’m a WOTC guy too, but messaging is ALWAYS the best way to get crazy deals. I got the entire common and uncommon base set first edition cards in amazing condition for 60 bucks a year ago doing the same.
awesome man! this is just such an amazing find. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t jealous haha. there are a few more in looking for as well. from the trr holo set. I’d surely appreciate working something out. plus I have mint copies as well… just not gem for my psa collection!
Nice! I love the ex holos and they’re so hard to find in mint condition, trying to complete all my holo sets and it’s much more difficult than 5 years ago
