Graded card storage?

Hey guys just wondering what everyone uses for storage on their graded cards. Right now I just use the PSA boxes inside another box ( i know) I’m looking at getting something designed just for graded cards for a little more protection, maybe wood or a harder material.

What do you guys use?

These are what I use! They aren’t damaged, trust me. Fantastic deal.

I’ve surely posted this in some other topic before but whatever. It’s a bit hefty but at least protects the cards very well, 4 rows hold up to ~150 cards depending how much foam you want to remove.

will they go lose in the case if you store them vertically like that xD

What do you exactly mean with this question?

loose in the case, the psa cards. storing them vertz

I haven’t noticed any chances with my cards, bought same SKB case about year ago. Ofc some cards rattle inside psa cases but that’s whole different problem.

I will not be taking the risk… If and when I get one of these ill be storing them flat on eachother because it would still work good that way in these boxes, but Ill only be putting 5 stacked on each toher… anymore and my paranoia will seep in that they will get pressure, and impressions will happen. lol. So ill have to buy like a couple of these, and shipping to aus is like 100AUD

ILL DO IT WHEN SYUJU17 STOPS BEING AN ASS, AND WHEN I AQUIRE THE THINGS.

If storing graded cards vertically was actual problem wouldn’t there be options besides “shoe boxes”, graded card cases etc. which are designated to store holders in standing position?

I’d love to hear opinion of experienced collectors about this debate. @smpratte @garyis2000

Majority of my graded cards are stored vertically. I think both of the storage options shown by @nauticads and @fourthstartcg are quality.

Hold up, what did I just read?

Explain before all the things get thrown.

It’s rather well-known issue sometimes cards move inside cases after grading. I’ve sent ~100 cards and roughly 1/5 of them have come back as “rattlers”.

Only thing that comes in my mind are extremely minor differences between card sizes, if someone has better explanation I’m all ears.

Aside from being rather disturbing, this is something I did not know.

I was surprised too when I learned such thing is possible. They remain fine as long you don’t treat them as maracas.

Even maracas is fine. I distinctly recall seeing a video once where someone aggressively shook a rattling case a thousand times, or something to that effect, and there was no difference in the card at the end.

There was a microscopic change after those shakes…deep down in the subconscious parts of ones mind.

There’s a microscopic change all the time to anything that doesn’t exist in a perfect vacuum.

I don’t even want to imagine the sound the cards make when shook…

Noooo Stoooop!

Yeah thats what im saying, Id use this thing thats recommended but still put them flat inside

I’ve received PSA graded cards form other people, and they come in a sleeve that folds over and sticks down. What are these marketed as? I’m about ready to pack all my things away.

edit2: do these still fit in aforementioned boxes if they are in these ‘team bags’?
