Time is the only true witness to our journeys. It has a graceful way of softening the edges of our beginnings. we all remember that first step into the kanto world, guided by nothing but a pokemap and the quiet hum of wonder. In those days, our world was defined by the thrill of the tall grass; where the days journey depended on the battery life of our gameboys. Three decades have passed. The world we inhabit now as adults has grown more complex. yet the essence of that first adventure remains. When I finally discovered the original Bandai green pokemon set in 2022 I realized the path hadn’t disappeared; it had merely waited for a more disciplined gaze.
My fleeting joy for a childhood game maturing into a profound reverence for historical perfection. I have chosen to walk this path one final time. Not just to capture a Pokemon, but to honor a heritage. this ascent is a quiet study in the impossible mathematics of survival. It is a forensic pilgrimage through the paper-thin history of the 1996 Japanese vending era & a patient pursuit of the ghost rare MINT condition specimens that, by every law of probability, should have been lost to the years.
I am not merely completing a set; I am constructing a sanctuary. A artisans chest of shadow-stained wood and vibrant green leather, forged to safeguard the one-of-a-kind relics from the franchise’s birth. We are no longer children, and the world we once walked has changed. But within my chest time will not slip away, it will be held in stillness.
I am not just assembling a collection. I am securing a legacy intended to speak for generations. My pursuit transcending mere ownership into a commitment; aimed to preserve a cultural legacy.
Thank you brother. the first few messages I have received on Efour have been quite ignorant towards me. Something I didn’t quite expect two minutes into a pokemon website. I appreciate you and hope your pokemon journey is going well. I won’t be replying to anyone who’s clearly immature, but I am looking forward to meeting some real pokemon trainers on here like yourself and getting to know them and to share our familiar passion for pokemon, thanks for your warm welcome
Yea unfortunately you’re getting the symptom of a lot of new users using AI to generate a post. Like a lot of users.
Because of all the posts and things there’s become a real appreciation for organic posts, even if the wording is weird or the sentence structure isn’t great, or whatever else. But there’s also been kind of a collective eye roll when it’s seen, which is unfortunate, but the underlying content could be good, but the medium maybe isn’t the best.
Collecting all the Cardass cards is really incredible though! And I bet if you posted the same thing on the Welcome to Elite Forum! thread it may have been/would be better received
Good luck with all your collecting though! And don’t be a stranger to the forum. We appreciate all voices here
I just started my account & I’m still learning my way around. ether way I’m not worried about people hating at all!! I’m sure there will be many great people on here to. haters will always be there it’s the reality of the internet. Let us continue on our journeys without team rocket trying to ruin the party!!!
Lots of team rocket members on here. Where is he? Let’s get right to it. tell me where Giovanni is. I’ll battle him right now. I’ll take all you on actually.
I know exactly where you’re coming from. I actually liked the red cards better at first and even bought a bunch of them like cubone Bandai red in a graded 9 and a bunch of others. there was reasons why I went green and I will be documenting my decision why I chose green over red sometime in the future, but yes the red cards look amazing. Can’t argue wit that.
