But you see, it isn’t towards you. It is towards AI and your choice to use it. There was no you in the OP. The beauty in expression and sharing collection and participating in any community is that it is YOU doing it. How would you feel if you asked a few people you just met a question and instead of them answering they just showed you an AI answer they generated from google? Didn’t even bother to answer you themselves?
Using AI in place of your own words where words are a given, on a medium where that is the basis of its own purpose, is a slap in the face to people who are here for genuine community and communication. If you can’t see that, it is you who is ignorant, ignorant that you aren’t even the being who posted originally and are fairly being criticized for it by people who do take the time to participate organically. Ignorant of the fact that I put more thought and care into this post than you did in your entire time here so far, to someone who’s head this sentiment will completely fly over, flying past into the void.

So you think you just type something into AI and paragraphs just magically pop out of it perfectly and it says exactly what you needed it to say, without having to edit it and personalize it? You have no idea how AI works☠️ regurdless it’s not that deep it was just a intro.
You’re one of those AI defenders who just doesn’t get it. Meanwhile we and many other people will maintain the tradition humans have shared for all time and retain our humanity and individuality and souls.
It doesn’t matter that you added to an AI prompt. Apologists just don’t see that this single act of choosing a bot to speak for you takes you one massive step away from you being you and taking part in the tradition of existing alongside other people. It’s one step in the direction in the dystopia where we don’t know what is real on the internet anymore, we don’t know if those we are speaking to are actually people. I don’t wanna have my precious time wasted speaking to bots. There is zero value in that. The reason I value being alive and existing is sharing this life with other people. AI prompting your communication and interaction is a disgrace to other people.
It is very deep indeed, and very dire.
