Insane match. Managed to get to civilization from camping and watched the game with my family. Even my mother (who typically does not care for watching professional sports) was enthralled by the England vs Mexico madness. Nail biter from start to finish.

Ronaldo looks like he just can’t be arsed. Commentators have been saying that him lurking by the defensive line all game every game is part of some kind of master strategy to disorient the opposition but I dunno man, I think that’s a stretch. It’s just boring. Although give him his due, it’s not like he’s 18 debuting at Man U anymore.
I guess that’s partly why the new firecrackers-on-two-legs like Yamal are such standout talents just now.
