My ETB came and I got 9 standard holos and an Entei GX. Incredibly disappointed in my luck.

Thanks. It’s a bonus bummer since it’s my first TCG product in over 10years. I have a Premium Powers Collection coming in a few weeks as well. (The british version) - I’m hoping to at least pull one Shining. ;;

I got 10 ETBs today and I thought I would share my pulls to get an idea of the ratios

I got
1 Mewtwo Lab secret
1 Raichu Secret Rainbow
3 Entei Secret Rainbow
1 Zoroark GX
2 Mewtwo Full art GX
5 Mewtwo GX
5 Entei GX
1 Raichu GX
4 Shining Volcanion
2 Shining Arceus
And 10 reverse holo energy cards(people seem to like these)

Overall the ratios seem pretty good but I feel as though I had bad luck with the shining variety, though I haven’t looked at many other pull ratios. Overall quality of the cards for me was good, most look to be near PSA 10 shape (Besides the Shining Ho-ohs, maybe 1/10 at best).

As promised here is my pulls from 100 shining legends packs. Took a long time spent about 2 hours opening all the packs. If you want to watch my unboxing I will be posting it on YouTube in the next day or two. Ill add a link to this discussion once I upload it. Very fun set to open. I was almost able to finish a complete reverse holo set, might just buy the last few cards I need off ebay to complete it. Look forward to the 20th of October for Ho-oH Super premium shining legends set box. As far as whitening on the back of the cards I had little to no for all of my cards except the promo shining Ho-oh some had whitening on the back (only have 2 that I am considering grading), only thing with the set is some off centered. Not crazy off centered but still noticeable. Still, Such a great set and enjoyed it.

Full art Mewtwo GX and Entei GX look so great in this set! The full art cards look better in each set. Gyarados in SM4 is hands down one of the nicest looking full art cards I’ve ever seen.

Picked up an ETB and pulled the Lab Mewtwo. So stoaked but there are white flecks on the back like some others have mentioned.

Forgot to add that I pulled these out of my first box. Goes to show that it really all comes down to luck with this box set. Honestly when I pulled these I thought the box was rigged lol.

Biggest takeaway from the market right now is the incredibly demand for codes. I have seen them sell as high as a dollar a piece in quantites 100+ at a time. At their lowest, I’ve seen $0.60 each. That’s a VERY strong price historically for them. It shows the demand is growing for the online game faster than the physical game, which is interesting.

I opened 30 packs earlier and did pretty bad, but for some reason I want to buy more ETBs. What is wrong with me?

Just like any set, a month or so after release is a really great time to pick up singles after you’ve enjoyed opening some product.

So far, the premium has stayed true for Shining Mew and Incubator/Lab Mewtwo, which is predictable but nice. What has surprised me is Shining Arceus getting a premium over Shining Rayquaza. Could be a temporary thing. Poor Shining Volcanion is struggling. Haha.

We are officially in the cool-off period where premiums for hitting the market early are disappearing.

I think nintendo needs to take a piece paperston out of wizardries book and make certain cards extremely powerful and scarse so it makes cards like the orginal mtg POWER noiyne.

Just opened 10 ETBs, and wow the secret rares really do seem… well, rare. I pulled one lab Mewtwo but none of the rainbow rares at all. I’m happy with what I got though - aside from those, I got pretty much everything except a Shining Rayquaza and a few reverse holos.

I had good luck on print quality, very little whitening and even the centering wasn’t bad for an English set. Better quality than Guardians Rising and Burning Shadows for me at least.
