Emerald Break redemption service - IMPORTANT UPDATE (MAY 1)

UPDATE NO. 4 (May 1): I’ve received the promos back from the redemption center. If I received your codes, I have sent you a PM with instructions for paying postage so I can send you your cards. If you sent me codes but did not receive a PM from me, contact me immediately. And if you did receive a PM from me, please pay as soon as possible. Thanks!

UPDATE NO. 3 (April 9): Due to the overwhelming response, as of April 9, I won’t be accepting any more redemption requests. I will honor all redemption requests that have already been made. If you’ve already made your request, but haven’t sent me your cards, please do so ASAP.

**UPDATE NO. 2 (March 27): I’m being inundated with requests, including some for hundreds of cards. I will be honoring all requests that have already been PMd to me.

But if you haven’t contacted me yet, please be prepared to pay a $5 processing fee if you want to use my redemption service. (The fee could be higher if you want me to redeem a large number of cards.)

Sorry to have to change the terms, but this is turning out to be much more work than anticipated.**

UPDATE: I’ve been getting lots of request, which is great. I’m happy to help you all. I do ask that if you haven’t submitted your request yet, though, please use the phrase “Emerald Break Redemption” as the subject line. That will help me easily find and sort the inquiries in my in-box. Thanks!

Many of you have been opening your Emerald Break packs and discovering that they contain coupon-cards that can be redeemed for a special promo card.

However, the coupon-cards need to be sent and redeemed from within Japan.

I’m willing to provide a middleman redemption service to anyone who wants to turn in their coupon-cards. If you’re interested, please send me a PM after reading everything below.

Here’s how it will work and what it will cost you:

  • You send your coupon-cards to me in Japan.

  • I send them to the redemption company in Japan.

  • The redemption company will send the promos back to me.

  • I will send the promos to you (via registered mail).

Your monetary cost is the actual mailing fees (82 yen domestic and between 900 yen and 1,500 yen international, depending on the number of cards ordered and the mail service used). UPDATE: There is now also a minimum $5 processing fee for all new requests. (If you PM’d me before March 27, you will not be charged this fee.)

For my efforts, I also want one coupon-card (not the promo prize card, just one coupon) for every nine you want me to redeem. (You need to have three coupons to get the promo. If want me to redeem fewer than nine coupons, you’ll still have to give me one coupon.)

Also, be sure to check your coupon-cards before sending them to ensure they are valid for redemption. Not every pack has a “winner” coupon-card. If the card has a 0 on it, it’s worthless. If it has a 1 on it, it’s valid for redemption.

And finally, as they say on TV, “Don’t delay — act now! Supplies are limited!” The official redemption deadline is May 7, so I will need to receive your cards at least a couple of days before then.

You are a legend japanime. I might semd some through to you. A lot of the people i met in japan had very poor english or no english, but it added to the charm of sich a beautiful country.

Is this the same 123/XY-P Coro Coro promo or it’s different? Sorry I’m bad at distinguishing newer promos.

It’s different only in that it is a shiny Rayquaza instead of the regular colour. Its number is 122. It is a different card to 123 in colour of Rayquaza only.

You will receive a pm from me in about a week or two. I will probably have roughly 10-20 sets that I need redeemed! Thanks bro, I appreciate it a ton!

Thank you for clearing that up.

Sounds good to me. I like the artwork on this card a lot better than the shiny gengar. How many coupons can be in a box Mine havent arrived yet.

Averaging 6 per box.

Damn.

Is there a limit to how many we can send lol.

That I’m not sure of. you can only redeem 9 coupons per letter. Unsure if that is a household limit though =/

(For those of you who already submitted your request, you do not have to resubmit it!)

Just a note:

To those who say it is strictly 6 per box… In my 6 boxes, I got 38 points, so it is possible to get 7, but the average is 6

Holy shit I’m so happy I found this place. I’ve been posting everywhere to find some to help redeem these things. I have 18 codes I would like to mail in, I’ll gladly let you keep 3 (1 promo) if I can get the other 5 promos. I’m new here and not really sure how to send a PM.

Click ‘Messages’ at the top and then you can PM people. (Unsure whether you need a certain amount of posts to do this…!)

I’m not sure if this has already been answered, but is there a limit to how many cards one person can redeem?

9 cards per envelope but otherwise I do not think there is a limit.
