UPDATE NO. 4 (May 1): I’ve received the promos back from the redemption center. If I received your codes, I have sent you a PM with instructions for paying postage so I can send you your cards. If you sent me codes but did not receive a PM from me, contact me immediately. And if you did receive a PM from me, please pay as soon as possible. Thanks!
UPDATE NO. 3 (April 9): Due to the overwhelming response, as of April 9, I won’t be accepting any more redemption requests. I will honor all redemption requests that have already been made. If you’ve already made your request, but haven’t sent me your cards, please do so ASAP.
**UPDATE NO. 2 (March 27): I’m being inundated with requests, including some for hundreds of cards. I will be honoring all requests that have already been PMd to me.
But if you haven’t contacted me yet, please be prepared to pay a $5 processing fee if you want to use my redemption service. (The fee could be higher if you want me to redeem a large number of cards.)
Sorry to have to change the terms, but this is turning out to be much more work than anticipated.**

UPDATE: I’ve been getting lots of request, which is great. I’m happy to help you all. I do ask that if you haven’t submitted your request yet, though, please use the phrase “Emerald Break Redemption” as the subject line. That will help me easily find and sort the inquiries in my in-box. Thanks!
Many of you have been opening your Emerald Break packs and discovering that they contain coupon-cards that can be redeemed for a special promo card.
However, the coupon-cards need to be sent and redeemed from within Japan.
I’m willing to provide a middleman redemption service to anyone who wants to turn in their coupon-cards. If you’re interested, please send me a PM after reading everything below.
Here’s how it will work and what it will cost you:
-
You send your coupon-cards to me in Japan.
-
I send them to the redemption company in Japan.
-
The redemption company will send the promos back to me.
-
I will send the promos to you (via registered mail).
Your monetary cost is the actual mailing fees (82 yen domestic and between 900 yen and 1,500 yen international, depending on the number of cards ordered and the mail service used). UPDATE: There is now also a minimum $5 processing fee for all new requests. (If you PM’d me before March 27, you will not be charged this fee.)
For my efforts, I also want one coupon-card (not the promo prize card, just one coupon) for every nine you want me to redeem. (You need to have three coupons to get the promo. If want me to redeem fewer than nine coupons, you’ll still have to give me one coupon.)
Also, be sure to check your coupon-cards before sending them to ensure they are valid for redemption. Not every pack has a “winner” coupon-card. If the card has a 0 on it, it’s worthless. If it has a 1 on it, it’s valid for redemption.
And finally, as they say on TV, “Don’t delay — act now! Supplies are limited!” The official redemption deadline is May 7, so I will need to receive your cards at least a couple of days before then.
