Regarding these 3, I think that Lairon has the best design … I really like the World Champions Pack artwork …

… and also this one that is drinking water …

Aggron is cool as well … It reminds me a bit of Rhydon and Nidoking for some reason …

I love all three designs! Aron might be my favorite, with Lairon and Aggron tied. I do think Aggron’s design would benefit without his two horns. But that’s how designs go, they can’t be too cool (in Sugimori’s words).

For Lairon, I love how Arita split this artwork into blue & yellow halves!

Aggron is one of the Hoenn all time favorites, was always a fun quest to get him in every playthrough. Fave pseudo legend of all time. Wish he got more really good artwork. Got a few gems but not many.

I always liked Aggron. It is a more ‘traditional’ monster Pokemon like the Nidos, Rhydon and Kangaskhan. Rhyperior ruined the Rhyhorn line though.

Was quite surprised by the number 1 but it was fairly close between the top 3. Also interesting to see Lairon’s AR outclassed by its common counterpart.
