Aquapolis Quagsire is so far ahead of the rest, it’s ridiculous

Agreed! E-series was peak artwork for Wooper imo.

Even though neither of them have super memorable cards, it’s nice to take a break from starters & legendaries

These two have so fun design and surprisingly many cards look good.

In many gen 2 playthroughs Wooper was one of the earliest Pokemons I wanted to catch, eventually great HM slave and it could absorb decent amount of damage versus Whitney’s Miltank.

I love the little axolotl/salamander duo! For whatever reason, I thought the pair had more cards. I have a running simplified species collection for the two right now. I don’t have much, but it looks like there really aren’t that many cards total. And not really any that would be expensive.

I really dig the latest gym promo arts. I haven’t picked up the cosmos holo variant (from a blister pack?), but I’m sure they’ll look amazing.

Wow, I did not expect to be liking the initial releases of both Wooper and Quagsire. They are really well done. The design of Wooper is extremely creative play on the Axolotl.

I still get messages about this pop 1 quag I graded years ago. It’s somewhere in the Philippines for those hunting. I had no idea it was special at the time, it was a freebie in an ex blister I opened

Also just clicked that this card literally hits close to home.

I knew it was going to be a bloodbath but only the top 5 received at least 50% of votes, with 1st place only achieving 63%

That said, it was very close between those 5 but Quagsire from Aquapolis came out on top!
