Overview Why I began doing these polls in December 2023 as a way to see how the community here ranks cards of various Pokemon or types of cards. Well i’m not as radical as the first take but also not voting as high as the second take, so far probably the smallest percent of cards i voted. Neither my favourite pokemon pair nor have they a lot of great cards

With most of these tier lists I don’t have a clear preference of one card above all else. But in this case I would be very curious to see what would win instead of this one:

I’ve honestly been enjoying Leafeon a lot more as of late! (and it certainly helps that it has gotten some very good artwork) While the Leafeon VSTAR from CZ is probably my favorite, the Leafeon VMAX special art from Evolving Skies is still one of the biggest examples to me of a card that just looks way better in person than on a screen!

Hard agree. Might be biased as someone who started the games with Gen 4, but I don’t get the hate for these designs. Especially Leafeon whose design even translates well for CG cards imo.

Leafeon and Glaceon are kinda in a weird spot. They’re not terrible designs. They’re good, not amazing. I know they’re not exactly good for competitive play, but they are nice, and I like the whole mossy rock and ice rock to evolve them. But then the tcg is weird. I feel like design wise, Leafeon is way better looking than Glaceon. But in terms of artwork, a lot of Glaceon’s art is way better than Leafeon’s.

I mostly agree with this too. Leafeon and glaceon are just like…fine. Not great not amazing. I like leafeon’s design but a lot of its art looks goofy. Glaceon has a similar issue

As someone who voted for Leafeon VMAX, but not the Glaceon VMAX. The Glaceon is happy. But it’s just standing there being, well big I guess. It’s a nice feels good card, but not special other than the tiny Eevees. But Leafeon is playing like a cat. And it just stands out more I feel.

I voted for both, but I agree with @ragingkraken that what makes the Glaceon VMAX nice is the scenery and the cameo Pokemon - the Glaceon itself isn’t doing much.
