E4 Signature Exchange 2025 Results Thread 📜 ✍️

Hello E4,

Welcome back to another Recap for this year’s E4 Signature Exchange!

Oh boy… 3rd time already? How long will I keep this up? Time will only tell…
This year did not disappoint. The OG’s returned to ship their bulkiest, heaviest, titanium filled signed cards to my house. I had no choice but to rent out a cargo ship to deliver them up to Canada to @PFM. Next year I am fully expecting @lyleberr to figure out a way to sign everyone a personal black hole, being the most dense thing in the universe… :fish_cake_with_swirl:

All jokes aside, this year was another success with yet another S.E. event in the books and into my binder! We had a good bit of new usernames in the event that got to experience the event for the first time! I hope all you newer people will rejoin us in the future for another creativity-packed event

For those who don’t know, this year was the third year for the E4 Signature Exchange Event This event helps to bring together the E4 community as well as, at the same time, help raise funds for E4 to promote the continued operation of this free information hub for all things Pokemon collecting.

Some stats of the Signature Exchange Event this Year:

  • A total count of 47 participants this year.
  • A total of 2,116 cards were signed and sent around the world this year.
  • After Shipping Costs, a total of $842.89 was raised for the continued financial support of E4.
  • Only 1 Package was lost in transit from participant to myself (RIP @Mr.Garrison 1st Package) He luckily had some spare cards to ship out to myself and his 2nd package arrived safely :package:

This year it took a little bit longer for things to roll out due to non-responders for cards as well as shipping issues. Both issues have been improved upon and will continue next year for an even better event!

For those wanting to see some of the awesome signature cards, see this video I put together about the event!

For those people that participated, you can spill the beans :beans: and talk about the awesome cards you have received this year in this thread!

For those who haven’t received their cards yet, this is a :warning: warning :warning: don’t read this thread if you don’t want any spoilers.

And with that in mind:
Here are some of my cards I received this year:

I peeked at the video before I got my cards but have to say Thanks to everyone for all your efforts! Some of the unique ideas people have for their cards are amazing! Slade, you had me in the video thinking mine were missed :joy:. Before anyone accuses me of being too outside the box (pfm) Slade approved this! sorta. Who knows what next year will hold, maybe I’ll give Slade a break on shipping and do something that’s flat .

As for my card there will be a craft post about them

but @Slade nailed it with what they are, everyone got ones based on their signature sprites, I “signed” them using a typewriter (same as I did for the secretsanta exchange), and they glow in the dark!

  • Weirdest part was that all texture was filled and no longer was able to be seen so all pokeball, masterball, texture, etc cards all became mirror holos. Kinda a bummer because I thought they would have made the holos really stand out.
  • Worst part is that each card took about an hour of setting up and 24hrs to cure and I only had 4 molds to use, so after several pours the molds began to warp and wear out so I had to make do. Apologies to those whose cards did not turn out well, Im more than happy to send you a replacement if youd like.
  • Best part was trying to choose cards that matched the users, I thought some looked really nice!

But seriously, show off what you all got! I wanna be jealous!

Ok, craft recap DONE. Dont look unless you want to see them all… but also look because it was fun in a painful I’m-destroying-cards kind of way.

Thanks to everyone who helped this year and @Slade @pfm for organizing! I watched the video and it’s amazing that so many people decided to get individualized Pokemon for the other recipients. Thanks in advance (I didn’t yet get my cards) to those who gave me Wobbuffets > _ <!!

@xileets I’m also very glad at least one other person also used MTG cards! @SeasidePokemon and @cyberurchin I love your sketch styles on your cards as well. @lyleberr I’m always negligent to get luggage tags so this will be a most useful gift!

For anyone interested, I did scan in all my alters before mailing them and they are viewable below. Don’t need to expand if you wanna wait for yours to come in the mail.

I’ve been getting into MTG alters a lot this year. MTG artists often doodle on the card art directly, soI tried my hand at some of my own. I tried personalizing where possible. Mostly used paint pens with actual pen in a few cases to increase detail. I’m also not 100% decided on whether the Pokemon look better with or without black outlines, it’s still something I’m evolving. Hope you all enjoy your cards.

Potential spoilers for those who haven’t yet gotten their mail!"

This was such a cool idea! I love how you picked cards that go with the theme of your artwork. I’m sure it took a ton of time/effort but it’s much appreciated!

Thank you! Yours look incredible and I’m so excited to see it in person.

I had a great time signing and attempting to sketch everyone’s favorites during my downtime at work. Unfortunately I ran out of time and didn’t make it to everyone’s favorites :pikadizzy:

If the amount of participants keeps growing that might be cheaper than my normal methods :joy:. A future project for sure

Just got my cards in the mail. So many great signatures, styles, sketches, and creative ideas!

It’s a toasty 95 ° here in Florida and @lyleberrs suitcase tag was so warm that it could be rolled into a ball :pikalaugh: Thankfully it cooled down when I brought it inside and now it’s looking PSA 10. I love the Himeno Houndoom btw, great pick!

Thanks to everyone who participated and big thanks to @Slade and @pfm for organizing! Really happy I decided to partake this time.

Hey all, great to see everything that was submitted. Really awesome sigs on a number of things!

For those of you curious about my addition. To do something a bit different I opted to do a “display frame” featuring a ultra pro one touch magnetic card holder. You can add your card from me to a binder and then use the one touch and frame to display whatever you like. The entire unit should fit into a standard PSA card sleeve. You can then display any pokemon card you like!

The frame itself is wood. I used a local wood working shop to utilize a type of wood working called “yakisugi” which is an ancient Japanese style of wood preservation. Basically you burn wood until it gets a somewhat “alligator” like skin.

I then used a black wood dye for uniformity for the piece and finally, to modernize it, I opted to add a holographic mica powder to sit within the cracks of the charred wood. To lock the mica powder in, I topped with an epoxy resin and did a rough sanding and final polish.

You can find yourself a little stand and display another one of your favorite cards if you like!
