I made a prop for my brother for his school musical. (It’s a language mix - the missing e in Werwolf is correct for german.) It was fun.

Not Pokémon related but one of the reasons I started collecting the Pokémon TCG.

Not entirely sure what I’m looking at, but it looks cool! Since you threw out the hook, I’ll bite :slightly_smiling_face: How’s something like this related to why you started collecting cards (or was it your brother that got you started)?

Oh sorry. Werewolf is a Whodunit card game the musical is build around.

Original
(You see the box, the rules and some of the cards I made as props.) The kids find the game in an attic and start to play. Every kid gets a card to define their role in the game. They have to find out who the werewolf is. But then the teacher and some of the kids disapear and the situation becomes dramatic. (There are also computer games and a movie on Netflix.) Working on those cards I started collecting Pokemon not only in computer games.

Amazing work again! Looks like Lucario just executed Raging Demon since the artwork really reminds me of Akuma from Street Fighter.

Cheers!

@Ragdajin Oh neat, the prop cards and things look very cool!

@cyberurchin You just keep creating masterpieces like they’re nothing. The pose, lighting, and composition are amazing on this one!

I applaud you for making this in disneys modern mickey mouse style. Also, im sorry but i dislike it because of that styles crudeness.

Im impressed you made it so differently from your other posted art. Were you trying something all digital? Was it difficult to achieve this style? Do you like it in general?

Amazing work! The Quaxly reminds me of my toddler when he has just done the opposite of what I asked him to do. Really captures it beautifully.

Edit: on closer look the Fuecoco is me for some reason! I did not expect this to be super relatable.

Cheers!

The art style reminds me very much of 90’s cartoons! (Ren & Stimpy, Pinky & the Brain, Cow & Chicken etc) Nice work!

Love the creativity to make pokemon versions of these  especially fuecoco looks cursed! If people haven’t seen the original meme there’s a bunch with same style if you search dolan duck & gooby

Finally someone who got the reference. It’s an old meme from early 2010s, so I knew the joke won’t be necessarily understood by many people. Since Quaxly resembles Donald Duck, I thought it would be time to make a crudely drawn parody with dolan duk. While I was as it, Fuecoco has a somewhat similar colour scheme to Goofy, so a gooby parody felt appropiate. Don’t worry though, this was a one time thing. I’ll continue with water colours and sprites.

Of course you of all people would be the one to know about this meme.

Very interesting and it matches really well. I really expected the quaxly to be more of the newer duck tales

and goofy to be more the modern goofy style.

I wonder if the memes led to the modern versions being created since they were more recognized and accepted as a current style.
