Ragdajin

From Germany. I started playing Pokémon Go in 2016. Then later S&S and S&V on the switch, collecting cards since 2025.

A dude from Germany too old to feel nostalgia for Pokémon. When it started I didn’t liked the early layout, the yellow border and many of the artworks. So I collected Star Trek from Decipher instead. Therefore I am mostly interested in modern stuff now.

My first physical contact with Pokémon I remember was when I worked in Kindergarden. Little Timmy lost his Psyduck every day and couldn’t sleep without him. We searched for him frequently.

I started playing the games with Pokémon Go. Then later S&S and S&V on the switch. Collecting cards I started 2025 with Traumatic Evolutions (because of EEVEE!). Close to minimum wage I try to compensate with my own art. (I hope this helps with the addiction too. :face_with_peeking_eye:)

You might see some of my artwork here and there. And maybe you are irritated by my technics based on other peoples artwork. So please let me explain where I am coming from:

In the past I have made some props (so called handouts) for the Pegasus Spiele GmbH, Chaosium Inc and other publishers for the Pen&Paper game Call of Cthulhu. The game is located in the real world but with a lot of horror elements added. The approach was, to produce props as authentic as possible to make the horror believable.

I love it, when fantasy elements fit into the real world, when the boundaries blur and you’re not sure if things could be real or not.
