How many can you find?
Haha, thank you! The tiny ones are 1”x1”- very small, but very fun!
How do i sign up for this level of amazingness? Very cute work and very impressive at such a small size. I dont think i can do miniature things so they are always extremely impressive when i see them done.
Very clean looking painting! It looks especially nice on the holo energy.
Historians are not sure what this is. But the censor didn’t counted it.
Aw, thank you, Lyle! It started out as a bit of a joke (I charge $4/square inch for traditional pieces- these are 1 square inch each, haha), but I’ve been having so much fun painting these all day.
Here are a few more I finished earlier:
The key is a very small pen (I use Micron’s 005) and a sharp, damp (but not soaking!) watercolor brush.
If you (or anyone else reading this) would like one, feel free to send me a dm! They’ve been such a good change of pace for me, haha.
Maybee I should cut my own avatar.
If I saw that 1" Gyarados (or any gen 1-3) on ebay, I’d buy it for $4 in a heartbeat. The style is really great
That means a lot, thank you! I’m working through my custom queue right now, but I may make a few extra prepainted ones to toss up at some point!
Rocketgang requested that I draw something from his favorite movie and Tyranitar, so I gave it a shot. Since it’s for him I wanted to mark it as a 1/1.
@citriina The minisquares are super cute! And the amount of detail with the tiny watercolor is great! They remind me of the little character box showing facial expressions in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games ![]()
@jaws I don’t know what Pokemon movie that’s from, but the art looks great. Especially the swirl at the Tyranitar’s mouth and the cool old-looking pokeball. I never knew who that guy was on the VS Series Rocket’s Tyranitar card, but I guess now I know he’s from one of the movies.
@Ragdajin Love the old school prints with pokemon incorporated. They look like they just fit in naturally with the environment
Looks like a town with a lot of Eevee lovers in the latest one!
Thx.
That’s what I try to achieve to blend them in seemless.
I wonder who commissioned those…
It was a request from a friend to draw the villain from the movie “Pokemon 4ever” (The masked marauder) and he loves Tyranitar, so I chose the VS dark energy. I also planned the art around that swirl.
Hehe, I wonder.. :3c
(Thank you again, Biird!! Hoping they arrive quickly for you!)
That Mew was my fifth attempt and it still has some mistakes, but I won’t go for a sixth one. At least I can consider it as practice.
Rotate it counter clockwise 45° and paint anything below the level of its head on the background blue and itll look like Mew is doing the backstroke in a pool. ![]()
It looks great! You do such a great job getting very authentic looking alternate angles for them. I would be worried if you are considering entering the e4 art contest.
