This is so beautiful. I can almost feel the cool breeze and hear the soft rustling of the grass.

Yes, my sentiments exactly. I can almost hear the gentle wind blowing and all the sounds in the meadow. Really great work @citriina . It looks all very peaceful.

Cheers!

Thank you, @eievui @D3F14NC3 and @mrbubbles , I appreciate your kind words. Nature-y scenes are some of the most relaxing for me to paint. There’s just something about painting trees and landscapes that’s so different from my normal character-focused work that’s very refreshing for me when I have a need to create something that isn’t directly for a client.

Hey! I’m new here. I just finished drawing this today, its taken a few days to draw. I’m absolutely obsessed with the eeveelutions, and I’ve just gotten in to drawing Pokemon.

You know I am bias as your dad, but I am glad to see you share your art with the world.

Warm welcome to the forums @MadameCat. Very awesome first submission and your artwork looks very well done. I love the varied expressions of the eeveelutions and also your art style. You have really immense talent and I would request you to check out our E4 annual art contest. You can really showcase your talent to a lot more people there.

Cheers!

She is my 14 year old daughter. I suggested she join the forum to view other fan art and share hers. I don’t post often, myself, as I came here to learn to help support my children’s hobby.

She pointed out that the contest says she has to be here for 2 months. So I don’t think she will be able to join this time. But as she has more art I will encourage her to share it.

I cant speak for them but it may be worth checking with the organizers to see about entering, if either of you is interested. There are links to the past contests if you want to see how it usually goes since many are mostly made for sharing artistic expression instead of serious competition.

Not that I need more competition, but there is always something to learn from more practice and feedback afterwards. Besides, probably would be fun to see both of your art skills

I would also encourage you to check with the organizers, the two month rule is there to prevent spam, but I don’t think it would prevent users with a genuine interest in participating :slightly_smiling_face:

A few teeny tiny watercolors for friends in the species discord this morning (+ a TCG-sized signature card).

Unfortunately I don’t have any bananas, but my hand for scale will have to do

Sweet illustration! I like the pose you chose, feels creative and well done! Which markers do you find work best for which cards?

That’s awesome! Reminds me of when Charizard wouldn’t obey Ash in the anime :joy:

Pokémon are real, Right? So I photoshoped… I mean I found an early version of a woodblock print by Hokusai were you can see several Pokémon among people before the emperor decided to hide them from western societies by censoring those prints and writings.
