Pikachu looked fantastic. Charizard looked weird. But I’m into it, I’m all in on this. This may be the only live action Pokemon we’ll ever get!
The signs on the buildings are great. J.Puff…lol. Eevee Salon…classic. Machamp’s Muscle Gym…no words. Does that say Mr Mime on the theatre marquee?

I’m going to see it, looking forward to a change of mediums from cartoon to live action. I do think some of the Pokémon look weird in a live action format but thats ok

It won’t bomb. Whether it willl be quality or not remains to be seen, but any fan under age 14 is going to love it regardless, so it won’t bomb.
Interesting to see that Warner Bros is trying to appeal to the teens, early 20s age range (arguably those with a lot of sentimental connection to Pokemon).
I feel like this is just going to be a comedy like Ted was, that happens to be Pokemon related. I have never liked live action adaptations of anime. Just always has a “cringe” feeling to it. Would much rather see the movie be about a real life “ash” and his pokemon adventures.
I just watched the trailer and I don’t know how to process what I just saw, but I’m pretty positive I’ll end up in the theater anyways. Anyone think we’ll get live action promo cards for this?

O dont really know how to compute this at all. All i can say is im glead that we have newer gen pokemon involved like greninja etc and not just kanto rehash again. Id be excited to see some team rocket action. Meowth having a cameo with the anime voice actor involved.

I’ve just watched the Full trailer for the first time and WOW!
I’m very excited to watch this, Ryan Reynolds was a great choice considering his popularity due to deadpool in particular,
I think this could take Pokemon onto new heights and introduce even more youngsters too the franchise and bring many 20 somethings back into the TCG, Games etc back as well!
Very much looking forward to it and beat my expectations, the best ‘movie’ Pokemon have signed up for, period
