I noticed my Chinese Magnemites are also pretty orange compared to the western prints. I wonder if all Chinese/Korean cards have a reddish tint to them then.

years ago, I saw an unlimited ruby charizard that was so red, the 120 HP was almost completely blurred into the background

When buying a Venusaur a few weeks ago, there were 2 for sale that took my interest.
One is more blue and the other one green.

If the postman does its job, im happy to say tomorrow one of these will arrive in the mail.

Oh wow! Did you buy both? If you did, please post them side by side so we can see it  I wonder if is the actual color or just a bit sun faded or if someone’s phone saturated or tweaked the photo in an editor or something.

These are psa scans which are sometimes not really consistent but since i much prefer the greener Venusaur and more orange borders i took that one instead.

Hope it looks the same in person, which i will know tomorrow.

I will post the cards tomorrow in the recent purchase thread.

That is super cool! Can’t believe I missed this in all these years. Now I’m in need of these😂

Would you consider the first 5 cards here to be deeply saturated? I think the Mewtwo (also below) and Venusaur stand out for me as being saturated similarly to others in this thread

Definitely on the deeper end, yes. Heavenly cards.

The Mewtwo is very purple. Absolutely beautiful

Just wanted to document that a deeper (ruby) saturation can be found on Japanese prints too.

Love a good high saturation Shadowless holo!

Just for the sake of documenting it, here’s a saturated thick stamp Machamp I have.

The brown background is noticeably deeper in person, and the art background has some lovely deep hues going on when the light catches it right.
