CGC to PSA Cross-Grading Result

May be a silly question, but you differentiate between surface and scratching – can you elaborate?

They deny it and do not provide an explanation.

When I say surface, I mean more like dents and bends

Awesome results. I agree with you, first gen (all blue) CGC 9.5s are easily the best value in all of Pokemon!

Actually, A good 40-50% of the 9.5’s were the newer white-Blue label as shown in my YT videos of my cracking them.
But in general, yes the old blue labeled slabs were much more stricked.

Cracked two slabs to send out for autographs then grading, one was a CGC. The other was a BGS 9.5 gold label and it got a PSA 9, but since this is a CGC crossover thread I won’t post it.

Graded to a PSA 10! My first time getting a PSA 10 from any submission actually.

Cgc 8.5 to psa 10 to bgs black label? Great result.
I’ve got old cgc labels of 3rd print fossil dragonites and a gengar this constantly happening inspires me to do the same at some point.

@jac2357 just the 8.5 to PSA 10. The other card I was talking about was a totally different card. That was a BGS 9.5 gold label and it got a PSA 9. This one:

The only reason I cracked them in the first place was to send them to get autographed, and then I planned to have them graded PSA. I just wanted them protected more than anything.

Yeah I understood soz if my message wasn’t clear what I mean is you’ve gone from cgc 8.5 to psa 10 so next move is psa 10 to bgs black label. Just joking really.

When you submit that huge lot, are you submitting in one submission or splitting it into different submissions? What tier?

So Theirs don’t mean higher grades.
I submitted in $15 a card tier. The grader doesn’t grade “harsher” because it is a higher tier.
I usually don’t like to go over 100 items in a submission due to the different graders I may get.
This submission they were nice but others they maybe more strict.
I tend to chop all my submissions up into 50-100 card submissions to have the “average” grading experience with PSA.

It has worked pretty well for me

Plus being your own harsh grader is 80% of the “luck” you will get with grading cards.

Did you get upcharged on these cards? 15$ sub has 199$ value. I have gotten away with no upcharge before so im curious if yours were flagged or not

Oh 100% I was up charged lol

I’ve never successfully converted a CGC 9.5 or BGS 9.5 to a PSA 10 unless I had at least two 10 subgrades. I don’t know how you monsters do it with quad 9.5s
