Does anyone have any info on this booster box? I can’t seem to find any other examples anywhere online about a base unlimited booster box with this correction on the “Belgium” spelling.

Very interesting, it looks legit. It would be a very late print run right before 1999-2000. I wonder if the cards would be any different.
I have a Belgium and 2 USA foreign language boxes, they all have it corrected so it would be a very narrow time window.

I actually have 4 of them. They were purchased when Jungle and Rocket were already in print. Do you think the cards inside have the 1999-2000 copyright date on them?

No, all English Jungle cards are ©1999. And all English Team Rocket cards are already ©1999-2000, without ©1999 available. (Well, with the exception of the ©1999-23000 Dark Arbok uncorrected misprint, I guess 
).
I’m pretty sure @packyman was referring to potential print factory differences on the cards, like coating that reflects different under UV lights; or the Magenta Rosetta directions, which also differs for the front/back depending on the set and where it was printed usually; or having the Belgium shadow error in the Pokémon logo on the back of the card. Things like that.

Hmmm interesting. I have jungle packs that say made for the USA in belgium and have 1999-2000 on the packs, so I wouldn’t say that all english Jungle are 1999.
I just can’t find any info on this printing correction anywhere. I guess that’s why I was thinking they could possibly be the rumored 4th print that isn’t UK/Australia. I have another box that’s open and has this spelling correction on it but I’m not positive if the packs inside are actually from that box or not. I’m tempted to rip a pack for science and see what I can find. But again, I’m not positive if the loose packs in that box actually came from that box.

Jungle cards from those packs have copyright dates of 1999 on them.

I actually just noticed those jungle packs last night and have not opened any to confirm. I’ll have to look through all the singles and see if any of them have 1999-2000 because there is a chance I opened some of these packs when I was a kid.
Sorry for the possible confusion. To clarify, I meant the TCG cards themselves within the booster packs. I’m no expert when it comes to booster boxes or packs, and don’t know if there are both ©1999 and ©1999-2000 booster packs for either of those two English sets. 
But the English TCG cards themselves are for Jungle all ©1999 and for Team Rocket ©1999-2000.
(Not too relevant, but FYI: only the English unlimited edition Base Set; Fossil unlimited edition non-holos - and Zapdos holo from the Theme Deck; and Spanish 1st edition and unlimited edition Base Set TCG cards will have both ©1999 and ©1999-2000 variants available. Cards from any other WotC era set will have one or the other copy-right year.)

I’m familiar and own the variant myself. They do not have 1999-2000 cards in them.

They shouldn’t be 1999-2000, we have a few examples of 1999-2000 packs containing 1999 copyright cards. But they may contain a very late print which have been higher quality. It’s super niche bleeding edge interest but there are many different print runs of Base set with subtle differences. I think we have found 40-50 Base variants across all the languages.
They should contain the more common thick font packs, we haven’t noticed any variants of those other than 1st edition error and black triangle. They are probably not worth opening.
If you ever open one I would love to purchase a pack or just see what comes out.

Awesome, thanks for the confirmation! I only have 3 of the 1999-2000 Jungle packs and really didn’t want to have to open one haha.
I was able to find some info on those packs online, but the “Belgium” spelling correction on my base boxes really has me scratching my head. I’m really hoping someone on here has seen one of these before and could give me some insight.

The packs in the open box I have with “Belgium” spelling do appear to be the thick font, but as I said before, I’m not positive if the packs sitting in this box actually came in this box.
Those look like thin font Packs actually. I have no idea now. Maybe Belguim was an error introduced for thick fonts and you just found a way to determine if they are thin font.

I’ll have to go through that box some more later when I have time and see if all the packs are the same. I’m still contemplating opening one of the sealed boxes since I feel like that’s the only way to really confirm anything.
