That being said, in many cases it’s hard if not impossible to tell the difference between “lost” and “stolen.” I remember a user a couple years back unfortunately had almost all of their collection disappear while shipping via FedEx to the PWCC vault. While it may have looked like it was stolen, the cards turned up a couple of years later being sold by a shop. Based on all the available information, the package was just lost, then found and sold at auction by FedEx because they paid an insurance claim and as such owned the package. Eventually the cards made their way to a TCG shop which listed them, but there was no evidence of theft. When a high-value package goes missing theft may be the first thought, but many times that’s not the case.
