These signed and sketch cards are all stolen by fedex company. All these cards have specific details. Please spread it around and rewards would be available for finding these.
That is devastating, I will keep an eye out.
I would disperse this info on Reddit and X if you havenât already.
Iâd also suggest reaching out to Rattle Pokemon, Opossumbud and StrawberryyPokemon so they might make videos about your cards on YouTube to try and help spread the word
for anyone else reading this i would avoid using fedex/ups to ship to any grading company at this point in time. its not a federal offence to tamper with mail at those companies since they are private so they always seem to have employees who have âgone rogueâ whereas for usps mail tampering is a federal crime
It does not have a cert yet because they were stolen on the way to PSA. That is absolutely unacceptable and thank you for your help.
I believe the original post included a box that looked already opened and it was edited out? I understand why it was removed, but wanted to mention I used to work for a shipping company at a big hub. Boxes can be destroyed on conveyer belts (get caught, stacked up and open with pressure, etc, which leaves the contents sprayed about and sometimes hard to locate the original box). Itâs not always an issue of being stolen, but wouldnât surprise if someone lifted after the contents were made known. Might still be stored away unmarked with the company.
Thereâs also a lot of false claims being made with deliverues which is why they take pictures now. Costs the company a lot which is why they put so many hoops to jump through. Youâre fighting suspicion either way.
I edited out the picture because it has my personal info. And somebody put toothbrush in my package to PSA which is 100% not caused by belt issues.
Again, unless youâve worked inside a big hub with lots of traffic you might not understand. When boxes stack up, multiple boxes can break open and sometimes people guess where the contents went. Thatâs obviously not ideal and likely not company policy at this point unless âtheyâre certainâ (itâs been years and years and since Iâve worked in one).
It very well couldâve been someone stealing from you. Addresses can be watched. Iâm simply stating there are other possibilities.
I highly suggest against sending valuables through FEDEX, this wouldnât be the first time fedex has had someone steal valuable packages. HUGE UPDATE: WE ARE SUPER BING CHILLING CYNTHIA RESOLVED
and ive heard many horror stories.
I was told that fedex uses contracts to get workers. So they go to a lowest bidder, temporary contract work. I wonât say who else to use, but I now choose other carriers when given an option to avoid fedex.
Personally Iâve had fedex mess up deliveries in the past too, and almost send something back and I had to spend a whole day making sure they didnât.
This would really hurt me knowing the values of those Masago cards.
I really hope your able to recover them or get an insurance payout.
Iâll never trust fedex with very expensive items, too many horror stories throught the years.
So sorry this has happened.
We had over $100k likely stolen from another company en route to US from Europe (company rhymes with U-PEE-S going through Barcelona hub.
Going forward itâs always good to not state what is in the package directly (but be complaint) eg. âHobby suppliesâ instead of âexpensive cardsâ.
Hopefully you can file a report and or get an insurance claim.
