Just downloaded the game and I couldn’t be more excited 
But to be on topic ; I grew up with gen 4 and specifically Pearl and platinum. I’m honestly really happy about the remakes(as long as the battle frontier/villa is included because I think those were really important to how memorable platinum was) and I also love how the new Arceus game is taking place in Sinnoh
I believe so, nothing said otherwise about the online functionality. Since it’s a 1-to-1 remake everything should be the same.
Diamond and Pearl was the last time I actually liked the rival and antagonist story line. Everything since then has been really childish and kind of silly I think.
I’m pumped to play and have avoided starting any new games because I’m waiting for it lol
Ha, I can understand that. If my memory serves correctly, at least Platinum was a little challenging.
But I’m having too much fun with Gale of Darkness right now with the endless 300 exp battles. It feels like such a grind. 10 hours in and my Pokemon are mid level 30s.
I’ll be getting Diamond! Can’t wait to shred the e4 with my team of croagunks :]

I’m playing Radical Red with the self imposed challenge, that I am now allowed to use any attacking moves… I’m on Erika, having burned/poisoned/destinybonded/and PP starved to struggle first 3 gyms to victory… I’m fairly sure 10 hours didn’t get me out of viridian forest… But a lot of that was in building the exact team that I wanted. XD Oh and levelling up your team takes a lot longer when your quickest way of defeating a pokemon is perish song stall…
I’ll have to check out Gale of Darkness if you recommend it.
I got the BDSP double pack and the new Palkia Dialga Switch Lite! I’m super excited for the remakes. My girlfriend and I are going to try to complete our pokedexes together.
