Getting Diamond. I never played anything past Gold/Silver so I’m looking forward to it.

I’m proud to say I’ve played at least one of every entry in the mainline series since red and blue on release without skipping a single one. I’m really looking forward to these remakes as it’s been forever since I’ve played D/P. If they’re as good as ORAS is/was I’ll be happy. Also colosseum is awesome. I would love to see a pokemon game in a more traditional JRPG format like colosseum.
I just bought a switch so i can play SP and arceus when it comes out.
It’s #1 on my list when it’s out. Pretty excited.
I always thought Diamond was more popular as a kid, but there are lots of folks getting Pearl!
I think the differences are just a bunch of version exclusives.
Diamond was definitely the more popular game originally.
Ah, so I remembered right. I’m going to be getting Brilliant Diamond to match my original DS cartridge 
Smart move if Nintendo were to include the original radar mechanism, they’ll sell way more switch units that way.
You know, after people throw their switches at the wall and need to replace them.
I preordered Shining Pearl as soon as it was available. I stopped playing when I was a kid at Emerald, then didn’t pick up another pokemon game until Moon came out. I know very little about the Sinnoh region and have intentionally been avoiding spoilers and stuff so I can jump in blind. Super excited!

Yes, I’m planning on getting Brilliant Diamond on release. D/P is actually the only main line games that I haven’t played. I will be trying to do some sort of nuzlocke playthrough which has become a tradition of mine ever since X/Y.
I was super excited for it, then I got sucked into playing super hard rom variants of pokemon games with massively increased difficulty.
Has kinda blunted my excitement, as not sure I can play a ‘vanilla’ game now, WHAT DO YOU MEAN MY TEAM ARE ALLOWED TO USE ALL THEIR MOVES AND DON’T START THE BATTLE ON FIRE!
Hahaha I know exactly how you feel! I’m going to do my first playthrough doing a hardcore nuzlocke with only Water types…should be more difficult and hopefully challenging

I’ll be playing Shining Pearl, I plan to do it with 1 Marill!
After gen 4 I stopped playing the mainline games, so I’m excited to revisit this one!

Hyped to play it, even preordered with a huge discount (a national electronics store always includes preorders on the promotions so got it pre ordered for 33.99 euro) but most likely won’t play on release. Tomorrow SMT5 comes out and on monday i am starting a new job plus I have classes so I’d say maybe mid week after release

@lavendergengar, that is so frustrating. I preordered mine off of amazon and as of now they have not even shipped it out yet. I really hope it gets here before it is late at night 
Am I being impatient? Absolutely!! We’ve all waited so long for SMTV and I am super excited to play the game.
