30th anniversary reprints?

I’m thinking how Celebrations did reprints of classic cards and put the stamp on there, if the 30th anniversary did reprints of Latias and Latios and Moonbreon and other modern chases cards in there but put the stamp, would that bring down the original card price or bring it up? Especially if those cards are as easy to pull as the Celebrations set. I can’t remember what happened to those cards when Celebrations came out

I think you are overthinking it.

Base set Charizard has been reprinted several times, but doesn’t really change the value of the original

Modern chase cards with a stamp is now my least favorite prediction for the 30th anniversary.

This 100%. Pokemon is basicallythe only tcg where reprints of older stuff has almost no negative impact on older stuff. Actually, alot of times it makes the older stuff go up in price.

Idk, but I really wish they would do what one piece does, and make a special set with alot of the rarer chase cards from other sets in it, and repeat this yearly.

Okay yeah. I guess I was hoping it might bring down the Moonbreon.

Idk I honestly kind of liked that Celebrations did that! I never pulled the Charizard as a kid so it was nice being able to pull it then. So if they did that with some modern chase cards I never pulled I honestly wouldn’t mind it at all!
