Black Label Hidden Fates Zard was a fun roller coaster. Its come up, but still not at the initial 10k.
Rocket 20th Anniversary never really dropped. The case itself has been consistently increasing. Especially in Japan. Some of the buylist prices there are higher than ebay sales.
So now we just wait to see if any more 10s hit the market. From the limited data I’ve seen it’s quite hard to grade so it could be a very scare card even if there were X amount printed.
The Hidden Fates zard was a crazy roller coaster indeed. But that was still a set card and printed like crazy compared to these supposedly limited printed promos.
My V-Union boxes finally shipped from GameStop. That’s the last of my pre-orders. Got every sku except the Ultra Premium set. I still need cards to finish my set so I hope they print more soon.
Every zard 3x’s two years after release? Lol
I think it all boils down to how many Ultra premium collection boxes will be printed. The metal cards won’t be easy to make so it won’t be as many as your normal ETBs that’s for sure. But how much lower, no one knows. The prices of these boxes are rocketing already. A great investment if no more / less print runs. Bad if it’s the opposite

2,796 sold. Love how this set has enough supply to meet demand. Now only if they could do the same with the Premium Collection. 
I just wish I could go to a dang store. The one element I’m missing from opening these packs is the impulsive fun of picking up a pack at the pharmacy or department store when I run out for something else. I still check every time I go out and they’re never available.
This is a good price, though. This is basically retail considering the shipping cost included.
If I can somehow get an ultra premium collection I can definitively say I was able to get every single sku, which I think is a positive outcome that indicates sufficient stock - even if brick and mortar was not the answer. I think that’s worth acknowledging and respecting given the global circumstances.
The ultra premium collection was dropped on walmart online last week and was gone within literally 2 minutes. I joined a discord and now have a twitter with only pokemon drop notifications set up. All with the hope of scoring a UPC on the fly. Lets see if it works lol
I know I’m super duper late to the 25th anniversary party (+ this has probably been discussed before), but what are y’alls thoughts on the the Japanese reverse holos?
I bought the two Kusube cards both in the regular and reverse version and I MUCH prefer the regular ones. Looks just so much cleaner. In fact, I think the reverses look like actual trash. Usually I’m all in for crazy sparkly foil effects (e.g. Pokekyun), but this one is a complete dumpster fire (imho, of course 
)
Very bad and fake looking.
This set is the best example of the optimal of supply meeting demand so far as a fan asking Pokémon “are ya winning son” situation. I haven’t seen any in person yet.
The annoying thing is how the tiling texture (or whatever you want to call it) they use doesn’t always align perfectly with the next tile. Luckily the classic cards look better than the English ones. Nothing is perfect I guess.
Hard to tell from the photo, but it looks similar to some of the reverse holos that were in Shiny Star V. Do you know if this is the case?
If so perhaps they will use this style of reverse holo in more sets in the future.
That reverse is just yet another sad example of TPC trying to give some breadcrumbs of variation without increasing the cost.

Almost done with Celebrations, thankfully, so I can focus on my next goal.
Yesterday got my UPC and managed to pull Zard, Umbreon(i already had but traded for a Rocket’s Suicune from VS series) Mewtwo EX, Gardevoir ex, Tapu Lele Gx and 3 birthday pikas (which will be left in a box for a loooooong while.
Only missing Mew, MRayquaza EX, Zekrom and Reshiram FAs.
So much the better I suppose if most others don’t prefer the geometric acid trip holos over the regular cards. I’m really digging the way the Pikachu and Lugia come off with that design, and I’d much prefer the prices go down sooner rather than later so I can buy more. It’s not my favorite holo pattern–not by a long shot–but I do think it adds to the 2 set cards I’ve been trying to scoop up. Hopefully it’s a one and done so at least there’s some novelty to them later on, even if it ends up being love 'em or hate 'em.
Those “oil spill” cards almost always have an enormous print line running right through them, usually too prominent to ignore.
They might as well start calling that crap a feature, it’s not going away any time soon. If they didn’t bother to do something about it in the Delta Species-era they sure as hell won’t start now.
Indeed… I have the Japanese and Chinese full art Base Set artwork Pikachu with the mirror reverse holo, and they both have this. Makes me wonder if all of them have this, or they’re actually without this problem as well… 
I don’t dislike the holo pattern in general tbh, but I do dislike that almost all of them have misalignment issues like that.
Still looking for a Thai RH version, and the Indonesian set has yet to release but will also have similar RHs available.
