I got some of the special set Japanese boxes with 4 anniversary packs, I promo pack, and a coin.
There was a lot of worry about whether people could open the box to swap out the promo pack.
I think it will be very obvious is someone tampers. The tape is pretty high quality and as soon as you start to peel it, it cracks and turns white and is very obvious that it’s been unstuck. When it’s untampered it’s very smooth and not cracked or air bubbles or anything. You would be able to tell if it was opened and resealed as far as I can see.

My understanding is that the first print has not even concluded yet. I still have unfilled preorders.

- Most metal cards have notoriously shit print quality including this one
- this is the only metal version of 4/102 to date
- this is not merely a Zard, this is a unique reiteration of the Zard
- because they are limited to the UPC they will get swallowed up relatively quickly
= not that crazy of a gamble to spend thousands on a 10 right now

You could have gotten skyridge charizard psa 10, gold star charizard psa 10 with thousands to spare, psa 8 1st ed base charizard etc

It’s going to be interesting to see what happens to the card in the next year or so. This same cycle happened with pretty much every charizard card. Some pays a crazy amount and everyone thinks it’s just way to much. Then 2 years later and the card is worth 3x and everyone calls the first buyer a genius.
Reminds me a lot of the 20th anniversary rocket case.
