Congrats on getting a good box/case. 8 boxes in and not a single holo without 1 or 2 factory lines, just HORRIBLE edges and centering issues on the EX cards. I keep thinking they will get better, they haven’t. I don’t think 10s will be easy to come by.
My box had:
-2 Breaks (Ninetales and Nidoking)
-3 regular EX (Mega Venusaur, Mega Charizard, Mega Pidgeot)
-2 full art EX (Mega Venusaur and Mega Pidgeot)
-2 of each secret rare Surfing Pikachu, Imakuni’s Doduo and Here Comes TR (they’re the last three in the set and I was multitasking while sorting and filing my cards last night so that’s why I mistakenly thought two of “all” of them)
-5 regular holos (Poliwrath, Gyarados, Mew, Hitmonchan, Clefairy)
Didn’t get the regular Charizard even as a reverse. I’m sure that one will be fun to try to buy as a single.

I pulled 9 Reverse rares (Dewgong, Machamp, arcanine, raichu gyarados, mewtwo, magneton, hitmonchan and a clefairy), 4 Reverse Energy: dark, double, steel and fighting
Something I forgot to mention before is that personally the coolest/weirdest thing about this set is seeing most of the original Base Set holos in reverse form, without their holo treatments for the first time for many of them. It’s like looking into an alternate universe or something since Base was one of the only sets (along with Gym Heroes/Challenge and Neo Genesis/Revelation/Destiny I think?) where the holos were always holo. I normally don’t care about reverses at all but I might actually try to buy all of the reverses of the holos for that reason…

That is really true, the reverse holos really caught me off guard. What I am really happy about this set though, is that they released some of the hard to get secret rare cards such as Imakuni’s Doduo and the bilingual exeggutor. It’s a shame they took the Secret rare slot though, it would have been nice if they just put it as an uncommon.
Technically if you include legendary collection, the trainer decks A and B, and the WEB series only a handful of the Base set holos haven’t been printed with a non holo background 
I think it’s only chansey, clefairy, hitmonchan, Magneton, Mewtwo and poliwrath.

Ha! But six secret rares with three different ones is still great!! You reminded me, I also got a break card in my box.
So, so far it seems like everyone is getting around 17-18 notable cards (not inc reverse holos) per box then, with two full-arts being the average. Will update as I open more.
Just opened two boxes and this was my pulls ( sorry shitty pictture) . Pretty Happy, first time ive opened boosters since I was 9 or 10 so 18 years ago.
Got all Five Varients of CHarizard in the two Boxes

That’s true, it slipped my mind because I only collected that set like a decade+ after the fact, and not the reverse holos because they’re expensive due to people loving that super busy firework pattern. lol
Best of my boxes so far, easily broke the normal pull rates i’ve been seeing…

I just finished opening 32/36 packs of my first box and got 6 UR (two full arts) and 6 holos. The last 4 packs is 1 of each art work. Is it possible to get more than 12 “good” packs? because I want to start collecting sealed packs, and now seems like a good time to stop opening this box.
I’ve had a few 7 EX boxes(2 full arts and the 5 regular EX’s) so its IS possible.
But did you get 5 holos or less in that box? because that would still come to 12 or less good packs. I got 6 holos, which is the highest amount of holos I’ve seen come out of a single evolutions box, which I assume means less EX’s in said box.
Edit: derp. I just noticed your pic above my previous post, so yeah, you got 12 good packs.

Is anyone going to try and fully complete it including the reverse holos? I just finished Generations with all reverse holos and CP6 so I’m itching to do so. I got my first two boxes of Evolutions today so I will keep you guys posted on what I get!
I am. 40 cards away from a Full Set, 15 from a regular set.
I’m 3 cards away from a Gens Full Set, Regular Set completed.
