Is anyone going to try and fully complete it including the reverse holos? I just finished Generations with all reverse holos and CP6 so I’m itching to do so. I got my first two boxes of Evolutions today so I will keep you guys posted on what I get!

Finished my master set of Evo (well everything that can be pulled from boosters) Pretty happy minus the centering making some ugly, but its a binder collection so whatever!

i went searching in my shithole town yesterday for evolutions and there wasnt any for sale anywhere!

Im going today… there better be some always i will furthly hate my country.

I want to go to the shop like i was little and this time pull a charizard

I just brought them from Guf, opposite Video Ezy. They should have three boxes left, since I brought 2 and they had 5 in stock.

For me the last few XY sets have been pretty noticeably poor. Lines down the surface of the card, really bad misalignments, etc. The cards and even the packs themselves just feel and look cheap. I didn’t notice any of that while opening my box tonight.

I remember reading on Pokebeach that they were using a different kind of paper in Evolutions to emulate Base Set, and the cards were noticeably thicker/sturdier to me, and the packs actually opened nicely without falling apart (I like to save one of each pack artwork, but opening up the packs nicely to save one of each has been a nightmare for the last few sets before this – usually, my ex had to do it and sometimes even he couldn’t). Didn’t notice any bad miscuts or random ink blotches. The top back corners I admit were the only thing I did notice but they weren’t any worse than usual for the English TCG.

Okay, good, I’m not going crazy - as soon as I opened the first pack I thought the card stock felt different from other recent sets, but I figured I was just having trouble processing the old designs on new paper.

Some of my non-holo rares are misaligned, with the black printed slightly farther to the right than the other colors, but aside from that all of mine look pretty good.

Doesn’t compare to CP6 though, those were the first Japanese cards I’ve opened in a long time - I think after opening the first pack I must have taken 30 seconds just admiring the corners, before even checking to see what I’d pulled.

I completed generations and cp6 as well. I’ll definitely be buying or putting a master set together in the future.

Will snag the theme decks, keeping a few Evolutions boxes & pack arts sealed to finish it off. Doubt I will touch the staff & Pre kits, but who knows.

So, I got a M Blastoise and Brock full art in my first box. Anyone wanna tell me what the chances are of getting those 2 same full arts in my second box? because that just fucking happened My luck with this hobby is disgusting.

I got Pidgeot full art in both my boxes.

I opened one box out of my case and got three full arts instead of two. I got the mega charizard full art in the first pack and then M blastoise full art, and lastly the dragonite ex full art. I got 5 secret rares doubles of here comes team rocket and missing bilang executor. I didn’t get the secret rares till like the last 6 packs I was worried my box only had 1 secret rare.

I got a Dragonite FA in both of my boxes. ^^;;; And doubles of my EX pulls from all four, so yeah ahaha
