For once not looking for a Gyarados but something a little different. As much as I love collecting Pokemon, my favorite TCG to play is Magic The Gathering. Over the years I’ve built a good number of decks but above all else my favorite is my Elf Deck. It has sentimental value as it was previously a friend’s deck who showed me how to play with it before I bought it from him and built up from it over the last 15 years. I still have some odds and end to fit into it but as time goes on, I cannot ignore that my ultimate card is slowly escaping me:
Condition: Played to Near Mint condition preferred as long as it is playable on a Tournament Level (e.g. all text is visible, condition doesn’t affect thickness of card)

$100 (for various played conditions) or $200 (for LP-NM) or $250 (for NM-Mint)
What do you mean by this? The market price of this card has been on a slow but stable downward path. If this trend continues, and I have every reason to believe it will, it’ll be much more affordable around this time next year. In this case I think patience might be a virtue.
That’s good to hear and see. Forgive me thought for not wanting to take the risk though. I saw it bounce from being a 100 dollar card, to 150, to 300, and then 600 over the years for cards in good condition. At this point I just want the card so I don’t have to worry about it. XD If anything, I hope that maybe makes my offer more tempting.
@smpratte and @brendantheclayboy - it can be chaotic at times. At one point my deck was worth over 1k. The price fluctuations for most cards is a bit insane at times and hard to keep track of. Older and more “broken” cards seem to be a lot more consistent like Gaea’s. And agreed - the artwork is gorgeous. I keep hoping that it’ll see a reprint but alas, no go.
