I’m sorry but this makes 0 sense at all. There were 9s listed in the 1200 range, which you could probably negotiate down to 1000-1100.
I bought a 8 for $395 on ebay end of September and 2 more had sold a few days prior in the same exact range that I missed as I was looking to pay $350. They seem to insta sell at $400 so one can argue it’s probably a $500 card but anywhere north of $700 is just stupid.
Yes, all of my listings with a set buy it now price require payment at time of purchase. It was shipped out the following day

I’m glad I pulled the trigger at the right time then. I wasn’t even in the market for a 8 tbh… I think I’m mostly surprised about such a narrow gap between a 8 and 9. Then again it’s about the same 1.5x multiplier we see for 1st ed. Very interesting.
