WTB PSA 10 1st Edition Neo Genesis Lugia Holo

Looking to pay around ~$1800

Good luck… these things are rare and extremely undervalued IMO… haven’t seen one in awhile

Yeah but it’s a lot easier to up my offer than to downgrade my offer.

Idk the market value but might be good to offer a bit more than it to get some bites

$1,800 seems pretty spot on according to pokemonprice, just because it hasn’t popped up for a few months doesn’t mean it has went up a lot in value. Maybe the next one will sell for $100 more or $100 less or maybe it will sell for $500 more. I would say $1,800 is a great starting offer.

I’m looking for one as well :slightly_frowning_face:

psa 10? lol only $1100

Imo there’s a reason it’s in a BGS case.

Nothing against the seller, but If there wasn’t something stopping it from being a PSA 10, it’d be a PSA 10

Not really, some people prefer BGS because the high grades command a premium over the PSA high grades

This ^^ . I know some collectors who would rather have a bgs 9.5 or 9 as opposed to a PSA 10. Apparently some feel that bgs is more prestigious. Also bgs sleeves the cards inside the case while a card in a PSA case will slide around. Imo a bgs 9.5 has a pretty high chance at a PSA 10, and based on the pictures provided by the seller it could be worth the gamble. OP was willing to pay $1800, this one is only $1100…might be worth the gamble.

And yet, the basis and selling point of most BGS 9.5 listings are “Strong PSA 10 Candidate if cross graded”

Most of the people claiming those in their listings are not the ones who originally got the card graded (I’d be willing to bet). Those individuals don’t want to take the risk either, they just want to unload the card.

Yeah honestly it makes no difference to me. Just trying to help out OP. If he’s not interested it doesn’t hurt my feelings lol.

I already went back and forth on Facebook with that BGS 9.5 seller hating on him.

If you want a mediocre 9.5 buy the one where the seller isnt claiming it has the potential to be a 10.

If your 9.5 has no 10 subgrades it’s as good as a strong 9 imo.

That would easily crossover to PSA 10.

PSA are not as harsh on centering when it comes to BGS, that lugia imo could probably crossover to a PSA 10.

If anyone actually was 100% sure this would cross to a PSA 10, this card would not still be available on eBay.

Yeah or more likely becomes a $180 PSA9.
