Have these cards seen a sudden interest? I know the artwork is pretty iconic and it is personally one of my favorites, but I remember a couple years ago cards not moving or selling in the 500 rage ungraded? I assume most were snatched up by collectors; leaving the market dry?

I think the market will never be really dry for those as there is just too many copies floating around. Maybe there‘s none availble right now but there will be again for sure

Not really. Ever since trophy cards existed there were times at which certain cards weren‘t available. And then they pop up again

When a river dries up it means there’s no water flowing. The water can return, but until it does that river is dried up.

Your faucet will eventually dispense water when you turn it on, but does that mean water is flowing all the time? If the card is not available, then yes the market it dry. You can’t buy what isn’t there.

See you can’t apply that to the trophy market in general, because there are several different cards currently available. You need to apply that to specific cards. Some cards have been dried up for quite some time.
