Would you grade this?

Hello everyone im new here and just purchased my first “high end” card. (high end to me atleast)

I have a gold star charizard that is in pretty nice shape but it has two creases on it. It does have some whitening on the back but I’d say lightly played worth, not that much. Sorry about my crappy camera on my phone lol. Is this worth grading? I don’t plan on selling it anytime soon as its the card ive always wanted but im sure someday i will but not sure if grading it is better than leaving it ungraded. I’ve never sent any cards to psa before so not sure how much these 2 creases would screw my grading over =/

A single crease is an automatic 5-6. You can go lower depending on the damage.

I would have to say this will knock down your grade to at 6 best, probably even lower…
Creases are deadly for card grades.

Ah alright ill leave just put him in a nice case for display then probably. Thanks for the help!

If you dont care about the grade and would rather see it in a secure PSA case you can go for it! You can get it authenticated!

It’ll probably look much nice in a case. You can get it authenticated and cased and not graded.
They are great cards.

It’s still a valuable card, i would grade it even with a bigger crease just for protection. Of course a 5/6 is the best yo can hope to get, maybe get it simply authenticated if a low grade bothers you (but probably it’s better if you get that number, it saves a lot of effort when you will sell the card)
