So much to do! We just finished up Worlds in DC and here’s just a small sample of what we did:
Sightseeing around the venue with the E4 group
Group Super Smash Bros. Tournament (casual), group box openings
Lots of trade/sale deals with both E4 members, competitors, and others
Huge E4 meetup in a clubhouse with open trade/sale
Got cards signed by Imakuni (one-off E4 exclusive thing) and by Ishihara, Masuda, and Morimoto (standard worlds signers, buy wristbands from competitors)
Do they have a vintage pop up stores or anything at worlds? How well are they priced or is it hit and miss?
I’ll probably go regardless for the signing sessions.
0en they had a big store this year with exclusive world merch and pokemon center goods. it was bigger size wise then the walgreens i work at, and they had about 15 registers, still lines could be an hr or more long…
No, the only store there is the Pokemon Center with Worlds merch. You can buy stuff from people at the event, but in the convention center sales are prohibited so it’s very much on the DL. Don’t expect to find a ton of vintage stuff from people other than E4 members.
