Okay, wild speculation time. The teaser shows Red, yellow and blue balloons, the GB intro music, and Gen 1 Pokémon. Fine so Gen 1 games comes to switch virtual console, that’s was fairly obvious.
But…what about what we are not seeing? Why not any nods or winks to gen 2 too? Maybe they are holding them back from virtual console release because they are going to announce a let’s go Johto game and don’t want to divert away from the hype of a new game release… or am I dreaming?

I wonder if they’re going to slow drip the games onto virtual console. Gen 1 for now. Then wait some time before adding gen 2. And if we give them enough money, we might get gen 3 (and it probably won’t have fire red/leaf green).
My question is if they’re going to add these to the NSO service or if they’re going to put them on the shop instead. Which then raises the question of “will I have to rebuy the game on whatever the next gen console is?”.

As much as this pains me, the drip feed is strong nintendo game fashion. They must put them on NSO, it wouldnt make sense to drop on the eShop… right?? Im just hoping for crystal and emerald

I’m surprised they are willing to release any of them! Drip feed makes sense because why would they want to introduce an entire generation of gamers to Pokémon games that are far superior to the shit they’ve been peddling on switch haha!

I had to think this pretty hard.
I would LOVE a Pokemon game with all the regions and you could start from any you’d want and you can visit / battle in every region and every Pokemon is in the game,

They’re going to introduce a Porygon chat bot. It ends every conversation by causing an epileptic seizure.
There’ll be an announcement for a new game coming ready for the 30th anniversary, where the focus is discovering the multiverse and stopping Team Rainbow Rocket. You hop through ultra wormholes into different regions/universes as you go through the story, preventing Giovanni from interfering with the plots of past generations.

Six minutes of talking and saying nothing, while we pop blood vessels in anticipation of a cool announcement at the end.
