Why do you like Legendary Collection?

I’ll restate my opinion from a similar thread:

tl;dr - Reprint set given care, unique English release and reverse holo pattern. Not a top collecting priority but a nice way to honour your fav cards from Base - Rocket. Also low pop if you’re into that.

Legendary collection… overrated or underrated?

I used to have a very negative opinion of this set, putting it in the same tier as Base 2 and felt it was “just another reprint” set. But over time I’ve really grown to love the reverse holo pattern. The ‘fireworks’ holo is certainly not going to be everyone’s cup of tea (it does evoke shades of fake sticker cards) but it’s absolutely striking when viewed from different angles and really ‘pops’ in proper lighting. It’s also a unique release that Japan didn’t get, which is kinda rad. [20220519_…
