Scyther is my favourite Pokemon. It was lonely so I added Dragapult which I really like from Gen 8. Not sure if I have any others lol, will post and see.

I would battle with my Pokemon. Thats kinda how I approach it. I recently did a deep dive through all the Pokemon using google excel. There is always a battle for my top 5 pokemon. Lugia will always be there because I feel like a monster like this could easily be alive today in Antartica or deep in the Pacific Ocean. I like sea monster tales. Ahoy !!

Yes. I work with people. I do not have a desk job. Any setting interacting with humans we need a Ditto or Zorua type “vibes” to manage various situations.

I don’t think my favorites have to do with their typing even though 3 psychic types are up there. They range from pet to human sized so maybe smaller mons are something I gravitate towards.

Charizard Gmax: I never pulled Charizard as a kid, and when I got back into Pokemon after the COVID boom, I pulled the Charizard Vmax from Darkness Ablaze and I lost it. It was my first Charizard card ever pulled and I love him as a Pokemon too. (As a side note, I would later send that card in to PSA as my first card submitted to PSA…and it got a 10. So cool.)
Pikachu: Pikachu is my other favorite Pokemon besides Charizard
Blastoise Squirtle was my first starter in Pokemon Blue. He was also my only Pokemon in Pokemon Blue. I got him to a level 80 Blastoise and got to Mewtwos Cavern. However, I got lost in Mewtwos Cavern and didn’t know how to get out so I…decided to restart my game. I still miss that Blastoise…one day maybe I’ll meet him again…
Mewtwo another one of my favorites. He’s one of the most powerful pokemon to exist and I always thought that he was so. cool.
Jigglypuff this is my wife’s favorite Pokemon so I’m reminded of her when I see it 
she’s also been a great support in this hobby and is an incredible woman. I love her dearly.
Psyduck This is my son’s favorite and I’m reminded of him when I see it also he is adorable and has such a fun personality. I love him dearly.

Honestly they’re just my favorite Pokemon in an approximated order:
- Dragonite is my all-time favorite (party it in every game I can)
- Swampert—my goat and favorite starter
- Tyranitar my second or third all-time favorite (party it in every game I can)
- Loved Koraidon since the moment I saw him. It is criminally underrated how well they built the connection between your character and Koraidon/Miraidon and fleshed out their personalities
- Remember when Lucario was announced and I thought it was so angsty and cool. I think I was just at the perfect age to appreciate him (7). The way you got the egg from Riley made it feel even more significant
- Kabutops is the perfect Pokemon and he doesn’t get enough love. Shining Kabutops is the greatest card of all time—aura
Honorable Mentions: Umbreon and Espeon (shoutout Pokemon Colosseum), Rayquaza, Torterra, Typhlosion, Venusaur, Lugia, Mimikyu, Mewtwo, Giratina, Greninja, Zekrom, Reshiram, Mawile, Darkrai, Deoxys, Celebi, etc. I have enough love to go around!

Umbreon & Espeon,
My 2 favorite Pokémon, I like elegance and beauty.
There are many more Pokémon I absolutely adore but I find more is less to keep it aesthetically pleasing and unified.
I chose for the shiny variants to symbolise my accomplishments on this never ending collecting journey.

Answering OP question:
My Avatar is my favorite card, specifically the 1st ed meowth, NOT the gold fruit roll promo one. I like how that card visually looks. NOT my favorite art tho, mind you. But it IS Arita, and I will change my avatar from time to time, usually using various arita arts.

Interesting. I love Espeon and, to a lesser extent, Umbreon too (but yeah, who doesn´t). Dark Espeon is my all-time favourite artwork.
I´m also trying to keep it aestetically pleasing, but I also love it to shuffle around haha. A bit of a dilemma sometimes.
Well, not always, but I try to. I´m good at taking in inforfmation, but really listening is sometimes difficult.

Gyarados - because I collect it. The card is a copy of Shining Gyarados which is the 5th gyarados card I got as a kid which inspired the collection. The art is original too but details on that can be found here:
