Who Gets the Best Burning Shadows Booster Box?

Well I think I take the crown boys. Just opened my first box and it was without a doubt the best pulls I’ve ever got.

I had a funny glitch pack in the middle of one stack too where the reverse was the first card for some reason.

Yeah I had a reverse in the front of one pack too. Hmm I think one of the Marshadow took the spot of your full art. If you got a normal full art that would be a 10/10 box.

You are not even going to believe what I got out of my second box lol.

Not even joking. Got full art wicke and tapu bulu in the first half and thought that was gonna be it. Second half gave me a gold secret and a second HR zard. This is broken as hell but I am loving it.

10 loose packs - 1 GX
prerelease - 1 GX

So 54 packs, no FA trainers, no secrets, no hypers. I think I’m done with packs from this set.

I have zero idea what I’m looking at. What is what in these new sets.

Ultra Rares have a Normal Copy of a Pokemon GX, a rarer full art copy (textured) of each Pokemon GX, and an even rarer Hyper “Rainbow” rare version of the full art. Then you have Secret (gold border) versions of the item/energies, and full art trainers. I think Burning Shadows has over 35 ultra rares lol. See example below

The most expensive card in the set right now is the rainbow rare charizard ~$90 or full art trainer Guzma $55.

If you’re talking about “Ultra Rares” in the sense of cards that have a rarity higher than a regular holographic card, there are;

• 12 Regular GX
• 13 Full Art GX
• 6 Full Art Trainers
• 13 Rainbow GX
• 6 Secret Gold Trainers
• 3 Secret Gold Energy

Total = 53 cards (31.3% of the set)

41 of those are “chase” cards being Full Art or higher rarity. (24.2% of the set)

I haven’t received my box yet but I want to ask from you people who already opened one, how was the centering on this set?

I bought the Theme Deck that has Alolan Ninetales on it and all the cards are off centered to right I was expecting to get grading candidates… I guess both Alolan Ninetales can still be 9s but all the 3 Alolan Vulpix I got have a garbage centering that probably makes them straight 8s D:

Yes, they are just commons but I want one graded. Because Alolan Vulpix, that’s why.

Quality is worse than GR. It is the 1st print run though, but yeah Most of the centering o my UR are garbage.
