I think the champions path charizard I prefer because it just looks beautiful. I even like the OG rainbow rare burning shadows more than the shiny charizard from hidden fates. If you ever get to see the R.R. In person it’s just majestic.
I have a hard time ranking all of the zards. But between the hidden fates and champions’s path, I much prefer the champion’s path. It’s just extremely well done. The art is awesome and the effects on the card further enhance it. Just personal preference
I usually am a bit more abundant, but it’s not necessary in this case.
Only thing I can add is that I hate the market went up so fast right when this set was released. One of the few Charizard cards I wanted right the moment I saw it, but unfortunately I’m not really willing to pay the current 600+ USD prices despite that, due to other more important priorities… If this set was released 3/4th of a year ago I would have bought it for 200 USD in a heartbeat. 600 though, when I know the four Pikachu V/Vmax cards will soon release in 11 language? Nty…
Exactly my point @Quuador it’s not like we don’t remember paying $200 even for mint modern Zards like Burning Shadows Rainbow Rare or Hidden Fates not long ago. The kicker is both Hidden Fates and Burning Shadows Zards are much harder to pull then either from Champions Path.
I’ve broke down the math. And let me say I’m not a fan of opening packs. But for $500 worth of packs you’re pretty much garenteed a Champions Path Zard. Plus all the promos, random bulk and other pulls. So why would it possibly be worth $500 plus? Maybe in a year or two. But as of this moment they aren’t hard to pull and arnt worth nearly what they are selling for. Just my thoughts.
Champion’s Path since Hidden Fates decided to put that offensive blue outline on every shiny full art… I also like that the CP Zard’s wings are a little more red than the scarlet ones of the HF.
